If you're a woman shopping for a car by yourself, this is not the place to go to. Walked in to an empty showroom with at least 4 salesmen sitting at their desks. One by the door barely looked up from his laptop (I assumed he was watching a movie) to greet me. When I asked the other salesman by door (who wasn't busy on his laptop) to see a specific vehicle on the lot, he accompanied me without bringing the key. He was surprised when I asked if the door was open to look inside. His response..."you want to look inside?" as if it was a ridiculous request. He barely explained the vehicle, I had to keep asking questions to extract answers. No smile during the entire interaction and gave me the impression that I was bothering him. The whole visit lasted less than 10 minutes. My search continues elsewhere. More
Buying a car is a whole new experience. I ordered a new car in May from Herb Connelly Acura, The car came in in August. As I was preparing to finalize the purchase, I was told that I had to lease or finance the car (news to me). After quite a bit of back and forth with the salesman and manager, I was “allowed” to pay cash for the car. It left me feeling like I was given the run around a bit, which is why I am rating the dealership 4 stars not 5. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end. I have my car. Josh Davis was the tech who showed me how to use the controls and technology. It was a bit overwhelming but he hung in their patiently with my many questions. He had stepped in for the regular Acura tech person and knew most of the answers and he gave me the name of who to contact if I was unsure about anything else in the future. The experience at this dealership was a good one overall. More
