This place was the best! I am not local to them but drove 50 minutes each way three different times because they were so great to work with. All of them were great and did not pressure me at all. I tend to be very skeptical when dealing with people that work at dealerships but they quickly set me at ease when every step of the process was so easy. I drove off the lot feeling like I got a great deal and I know I'll feel happy every time I start my new MDX! More

In particular, I have always received excellent advice from Cindy who has given me honest, reliable recommendations and is transparent when explaining the need and cost for repairs. She is very patient when explaining the rationale for any repairs. Cindy deserves commendation for her patience with customers and for the clear way that she explains the details of repair work. I feel confident when I entrust my vehicle to Herb Connolly Acura and the positive interactions I have had with Cindy and the other Herb Connolly Acura staff are a reason for my plan to purchase a new Acura when the time comes for a new car. I was looking for a 2021 Acura RDX SH-AWD Advantage package throughTruecar and got a quote from Herb Connolly Acura for a quote of $45,910. I was thinking that ain't a bad price, so I went to their website to see what the have. I noticed they still have 3 2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD with Advantage package and there were a 0.9 APR financing special for the 2020 RDX. I click on request best price for the 2020 RDX and promptly go a call back. The person asked me a few question and gave me a quote of $41,995 with financing. He explained to me that it include a $1500 discount from Acura for being an Acura owner. It was a good price so I agreed to come in the next day and purchase the vehicle after a test drive. I schedule an appointment with him and thought everything was all set. I was looking forward to my new car. I came to my appointment and was greeted by a nice salesperson. I forgot his name but noticed he was a Bears Fan. He checked me in, got the keys and explained the features to me before letting take the vehicle for a spin. I drove the RDX, it wasn't everything I expected but I still liked the vehicle. Got back to the dealership and was ready to sign the paperwork and be on my way. This was went everything fell apart. So the price of $41,995 was honored, but I had to get finance with an APR of 5.9%. That's more than $6000 in interest for a 5 years loan. I said no, and I thought it was 0.9 APR. Salesperson explained to me that I have to finance at 5.9% to get the price of $41,995. If I want 0.9 APR, I would have to pay $43,495 because there's a $1500 discount with the high APR. I explained to him that I wasn't told that on the phone. And I would only buy the vehicle for $41,995 with 0.9%. The sales manager came out and say that it wasn't possible so I left. On my drive home, I realized that if there was no $1500 for Acura loyalty and no $1500 discount for high APR finance, they were charging me $45k for a 2020 Acura RDX when they quoted me $45,910 for 2021 Acura RDX. So I was paying $910 less for a 1 year old model. That's crazy!!!! This place deserve a 1 star for not being up front with me about the price/financing, charging so much for an old model, making me take a day off and wasting my time. More
