Exceptional PEOPLE work at Metro Toyota of Kalamazoo Although I had significant problems (oil leaks) with a used 2010 Turbo Forester Subaru car that I purchased from this used car dealership, Metro Toyot Although I had significant problems (oil leaks) with a used 2010 Turbo Forester Subaru car that I purchased from this used car dealership, Metro Toyota stood behind their guarantee and attempted to service the car for free.Dave the service manager even calmed my fears when I called the dealership from the car and explained the situation. I told him that I drove 100 miles a day to and from work and that I was at least 70 miles from the dealership. He told me that given the information I gave him about what the car was doing I should be fine and to give him another call if anything happened on my way back to the dealership. He was correct. Nothing happened and they took the car in for services. Since their technicians were not as familiar with Subaru, they used a new advanced internet program to attempt to fix the car. Zach from Toyota repair kept me updated on the car's progress and Toyota gave me a 2017 RAV 4 AWD as a loaner car. The service representatives have always been good at keeping me abreast of the service progress. When it was determined that Subaru could not be fixed, Metro Toyota bought the car back and gave me a full refund (including taxes, Title and Licensing fees). Dave Gugle, Zach, the repair representative from the repair center, Dave the service manager and Jeff DyNooyer, the owner of Metro Toyota treated me professionally and kindly. The apologized profusely and gave me a 2017 Highlinder as a loaner while Dave Gugle (and even Jeff DeNooyer) kept their eyes out for a Rav 4 AWD for me. He found 3. I test drove a 2015 RAV 4 AWD and bought it! Dave Gugle has called me several times to ensure that everything is going well with the car (which it has) and even got me a cargo net for my groceries. This situation could have been very bad, but the PEOPLE at Metro Toyota made up for all the problems that the car had. In the end, it is the PEOPLE that make a dealership work, not the cars. More
