Service: The service department gets a 4/5 rating because I had to take my car back after the initial service. A hose was left unconnected and a few things needed rechecked. But all in all the service department is excellent. Very fast and accomodating. Chris is fantastic and always makes sure I am satisfied with the result. More

Ken Karakula was great to work with. He was very helpful, but not pushy or aggressive. Ken provided helpful information in our decision process. J and J Robyn Our review of Metro Toyota Metro J and J Robyn Our review of Metro Toyota Metro was highly recommended to me by 2 fellow members of a radio model airplane club here in Kalam J and J Robyn Our review of Metro Toyota Metro was highly recommended to me by 2 fellow members of a radio model airplane club here in Kalamazoo, John Phillips (a mechanic employed by Metro) and James Oliver (a Metro customer) who expressed much satisfaction with the assistance he had received from Stephen Rozewicz, in his purchase of a new Toyota Highlander. I must say that Mr. Rozewicz proved to be understanding of our needs, very patient and most helpful in our final selection of the 2011 Camry SE. We were also welcomed at the customer appreciation dinner and seminar even though we had not received an invitation, due to the timing of our purchase. Although we are happy with the Camry there were two things that we were disappointed in. One was that an automobile of that caliber, did not include the auto anti glare mirror with a compass. Second, after receiving delivery we found that our Camry did not come with floor mats. However it was explained that the mirror could be added at our expense and that the 2011 Camry SE did not come with floor mats. In spite of this we are enjoying the Camry very much and we are happy to have the Metro Toyota Dealership available to assure the enjoyment of our Camry in the years to come. I can not close with out mentioning that we feel that the Metro personnel went the extra mile to assure our satisfaction. For example, from the time we walked into the Metro show room, Stephen Rozewicz made us feel comfortable and at ease, patiently providing us with much information about a number of vehicles, plus walked us through setting up the blue tooth system in the Camry we purchased. Brad Cole, the General Sales Manager, took the time to explain the Retail Installment Sales Contract and provided insight on the new car and extended warranty provisions that are available. Something that made a huge impression on my wife and I occurred on the same day we took possession and after we left the dealership. We had driven our new Camry to Hardings Market in Richland, MI and while in the parking lot we were familiarizing ourselves with the Owners Manual as well as some of the systems. For all appearances, it no doubt looked as though we were having some kind of problem and that’s when Mike Walters the Service Manager at Metro happened along with his wife, apparently they live in the Richland area and also trade at Hardings. Like the good Samaritan, thinking that we were having trouble offered their assistance. So far I have been greatly impressed with the Metro personnel that I have met and would recommend to all of my friends and family that when it comes time to replace any of their vehicles, they consider the Metro Toyota dealership. More
I had done research on several web sites before contacting Will. There were only 2 vehicles of this vintage, make, and model listed in my price range in the state. Will was friendly and helpful even during an inclement weather test drive and detailed viewing in the lot. I was impressed by his willingness to negotiate even the internet price for the vehicle. He even provided me with the location of local nature trails where I could take my dog for a short walk. Will would have received even better reviews if he had done a better job of prepping the salesman standing in for him when I picked up the vehicle. Hugh was really clueless, but helped as much as possible. Just a minor point: Someone might have mentioned that only 1 remote keyless entry device was available before closing. All new vehicles so equipped come with 2. My wife and I are happy with our purchase, and would do more business with Metro Toyota if it were closer to Midland, MI - our hometown. More

Ken threw in WeatherTech floor mats and we were almost all smiles. It gets better. The Stability control/Traction control system failed in the first week and Ken sent the car to Lexus of Grand Rapids..it was fixed just fine. The underbody tapping noise we heard on the highway did not get fixed, so Brock Garber, one of the most personable service writers I have ever met, had his tech secure a flapping splash shield near the gas tank. And Brock got ALL the future communication switched to Linda, who was pleased with the sale, the mats, the repairs and would recommnend the experience to anyone who wants to be treated incredibly well by a dealership. These guys honored the true customer, (Linda..I'm just the husband with way too much automotive background..) they treated her and me, like we were valued friends, and gave the dealship a reputation of making things very right. More
Our overall experience at Metro Toyota was extremely professional and ranked as our favorite used car dealership compared to the 13 we visited in our quest to become "educated used car buyers." Working with Ted, who is by far the most intelligent car salesman we dealt with, was comfortable and never once did we feel rushed, pressured, or like a bother. The only negative part of our entire experience was when it came time to finance, the finance manager was a bit vague concerning the warranty pricing and we signed for 3,000 more than we thought. When we brought this to the sales manager attention he was very professional and wanted nothing more than for us to leave happy. He went so far as to check the security tapes to see exactly what might have been wrong. He adjusted the paperwork with no hesitation and with delightful professionalism. We felt very taken care of and were very happy with our purchase. If you're in the market for a new/used vehicle, forget looking anywhere else and go see Ted and Keith!
