Bait & Switch - SOLD the F150 I was to purchase I'm a Houston resident relocating to OKC. A good 3 weeks before I needed to purchase a new F150 (stock number B84778), I had made a deal with Metro F I'm a Houston resident relocating to OKC. A good 3 weeks before I needed to purchase a new F150 (stock number B84778), I had made a deal with Metro Ford over the phone and confirmed through emails on purchasing a F150. Even received a "Congratulations on the purchase of your F150!" email from the dealership after providing my credit card number for a $1000 deposit requested. Three days before I was to pick up the vehicle, I called to confirm it would be all ready (after market spray-in bed liner installed). My Salesperson transferred me to his manager, Jason Hutton, who proceeded to inform me the numbers (price) were not correct on the vehicle and the new numbers were going to be higher. If I were to accept the higher offer, he would find a suitable F-150. I thought “What the heck, he already SOLD the truck I was coming to pick up in 3 days let alone the price was now higher!“ I told him I was planning to be in OKC on Thursday to pick up the truck and he said “Well that’s why I called YOU” which I quickly corrected him by saying “NO, I called your guy”. At this point I asked to speak to his Manager, which he proudly said, “Your talking to him”. Shortly thereafter, he told me I’d be better off buying my truck in Houston and abruptly hung up the phone. As I reflect on this experience and review other recent reviews on Metro Ford, there appears to be a pattern of poor customer service under the leadership of their General Manager, Jason Hutton. I elevated my concerns to the dealership owner, Ted Moore, for which I'm still awaiting a response. I ended up purchasing my F-150 Platinum from Joe Meyers Ford in Houston. More

salesperson was great but paperwork a nightmare Made a deal with Jason. I signed two papers agreeing to the amount and rebate. Came time to buy vehicle and price changed. I finally agreed to price. Told finance that I did not want $3000.00 warranty and found out when title and purchase agreement had the warranty of $3000.00 was on our contract with Ford credit. More

We were told that while we went in and "hashed out the paperwork", another customer took off in the truck for a test drive.....he also was told our offer. If they want an auction in the parking lot, perhaps ebay is a better place to advertise. Needless to say, we drove 3 hours back home, absolutely livid. The most UNPROFESSIONAL experience we've ever had. I guess they take their customers for schmucks.... More
