Marian was great from start to finish. I've bought many new and a few used vehicles, and this experience, though it meant a drive of more than an hour, was the best and most enjoyable. I gave the "quality of work" 4/5 for the lack of detailing on the interior. It was probably prepped at night, but nevertheless, I noticed it, especially the next day. Russell had done his homework as well, knowing more about the vehicle than letting the merchandise speak for itself. They got the paperwork going and next thing i knew it was ready to sign. There were a few minor issues that we all noticed (hey it's a used vehicle) and they made sure that I was taken care of (got it back almost brand new). They even brought the loaner vehicle to my wife because she is pretty close to delivering our newest son. I can't tell you all the details because i want everyone to experience it themselves. I started dealing with MB of Thousand Oaks via email and phone. Once we had agreed on the car and price, I was told that the car will be in soon. Once the car was there I went in to do the paperwork. The deal was set for a particular car with certain options and price. Prior to going in to the finance department, I sat down with the internet manager and went over the deal while they were prepping the car for delivery. After going to finance it finally came time to see the car and take it home. Here is where the issue is. It is not about the cost but principal. The car we had talked about all along with the options and price had a rear trunk spoiler. However, this car did not. The paperwork had already been signed and when I asked the internet sales person why the car did not have the one option we had talked about, he said “well, it is only $250”. I realize the cost is not significant but when we had talked all along about the price it did include this option. The car that I purchased was not the car we had talked about from day one and even when they said they found it and it was coming off the delivery ship, I was never told that it did not have all the options as agreed upon.
