This dealer sent out a letter indicating that they were very interested in buying late model cars and that they would pay "full market value". They further stated that any car whether owned, leased or bein very interested in buying late model cars and that they would pay "full market value". My car at the time was about a year and a half old, in pristine condition but for two tires that needed replacement and a cleaning. Their offer was for $25,000, a full $10,000 below Kelly Blue Book value! And I might add, that's almost exactly 50% depreciation on a 1.5 year old car. You could conclude that the legendary Mercedes resale value is a thing of the past, or that Ira is just another Massachusetts sheister coming to pick the pockets of the people of Maine.
