Dropped my car a day before for the 7:30 am appointment the next day. thinking it will be done by lunch time. Got a txt around 3:30 to pick up my car. Lost faith in Mercedes because of this service department. Called them first , explained my issue and even explained the service bulletin on Mercedes website claiming issues with my car not starti department. Called them first , explained my issue and even explained the service bulletin on Mercedes website claiming issues with my car not starting after warmup due to a computer update.. . Drove it in last week and was confirmed if it needed an update it would come out my diagnostic fee ($260+) . Been calling all week with no reply till last Friday when I got a call explaining they had to charge me for fuel (I explained I wouldn’t stop for fear if I cut the car off it wouldn’t start and okayed the 5 gallons they claimed I would be charged . Called all weekend to finally get a call back today saying they didn’t see any issue (but admitted to it running rough while getting fuel) but they needed more time so I would need to pay another diagnostic fee until they saw an issue (per hour) .. I refused , that could go on and on with no proof they did anything. I have 3 Mercedes, but this would more than likely be my last.. Good luck if you bring your car here out of warranty… More
