I brought the car back on Tuesday and spoke with Joe Violia about the problem, and explained in detail what seemed to be the problem. Joe accompanied myself to the car, and Joe witnessed the problem first hand and explained to me that there was in fact a cooling control malfunction and they would repair the system. This is the second day have been working on my car, and I have not been contacted by anyone in the service department as to what is the problem, and what is the solution ! I don't quite understand how a Mercedes Benz dealership can charge me $887.00 for a repair when they did absolutely nothing to correct the problem, AND charged me a ridiculous amount of money. When I spoke to the first technician explaining to him , what did you do for this charge he said he reprogrammed the control switch ! I then asked him, if you did not solve the problem, then why was I charged this $887.00 for the service work, I then questioned him, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ? and his answer was " I don't have a clue as to what the problem is" Well that answer is not acceptable to me ! Now just for verification, Anja More was present during my conversation with the technician. I paid this bill under duress, and I honestly wish that this situation can be resolved pleasantly between both parties.
