Everything was handled well in a tough environment—glad to see the dealership back on its feet. to see the dealership back on its feet. More
This was my first time dealing with MB plano since grapevine is closer to me and let me just say. if you have the option to go to grapevine PLEASE DO. Due to time constraints plano was able to get me grapevine is closer to me and let me just say. if you have the option to go to grapevine PLEASE DO. Due to time constraints plano was able to get me in. I went in for a quick service and a tire change (covered by my warranty) I dropped the car off on Wednesday and expected to pick it back up the same day. Needless to say that didn’t happen. I ended up picking it up on Friday after finally telling them I needed my car back especially without a loaner. They didn’t have my brand of tires which were on national backorder and proceeded to ask if I wanted to change all 4. Only 2 were covered by my warranty but the other two i would have to pay around 1200 just to change so I declined. Then suddenly the last tire was reserved so i had to wait ANOTHER DAY. (crazy that the dealership only had one tire, for a place that should be stocked, regardless that’s not the issue). I go friday night to pick up my car, i pay and leave and go home. The next day i hop into my passenger seat and notice my console screen cracked. a huge deal for me because i dropped my car off at a luxury dealership and expected it to be treated like a luxury car. I did not touch my car from friday night to saturday afternoon. From the drivers side the crack isn’t noticeable due to the screen and the angles but from the passenger side it looks like someone knocked it extremely hard. I go to call my service advisor (Zach, who actually is extremely nice and answers my calls) but anyone else there is rude and doesn’t get back to you. Daniel the service manager i presume was supposed to call monday so I get no call back (not surprising) He then calls and refuses to take accountability for the screen saying that someone probably tried to break into my car and steal the screen? (i have security cameras and park my car in the garage, so unless someone broke into my car on their lot it’s impossible) Gas lighting me into thinking i don’t take care of my car or that i should’ve checked when i got the car when in reality i just wanted to go home after waiting for my car for so long and it’s not noticeable from the drivers seat. Sorry for trusting my brand new car with a dealership that has a reputable name. MB of Plano has a terrible service experience and the fact that I witnessed an employee pulling a GT out of the service bay at high speeds is incredibly saddening since these employees treat our cars like joy rides. Just remember if you spend your hard earned money for a luxury vehicle you will not get luxury treatment or service at MB Plano. That is for a fact. take accountability for your employees where it counts because that will keep a customer whereas gas lighting a young female will come across and rude, sexist and ageist. More
