Richard Fougnie was by far one of the best sales reps i have encountered. While viewing vehicles online, i saw a 2003 CLK 500 that caught my attention and i called the next day to inquire about the vehicle have encountered. Within 15min Richard called me to let me know that a similar vehicle(2005) with lower mileage and in mint condition was just brought in as a trade and he suggested that i should come take a look at it and possibly test drive it. I was very inpressed with the car and Richards knowledge of the brand that i purchased the car that same day. This was my second Mercedes purchase from George Johnson. The process with Mercedes started with an online search via Annapolis Mercedes Benz. I previewed used certified specials. There was a C300 Sport, which I test drove. Derrick the sales person was extremely inviting and friendly. I Loved the car but the sales manager didn't seem all that interested in selling it to me. I left needing to think about it over night. They never followed up with me after that. I wanted to become more informed about car styles, price and availability hence, Mercedes website.... perfect!, I submitted an email price request within 50 miles, responses were immediate via e-mail and phone. Mac Clark @ R & H right off the bat won me over with her response time, friendliness, price point, knowledge of stock and follow thru. She let me know she was the internet sales and finance person @ R&H. We set a time frame for a test drive, allowing flexibility. I was greeted by Richard Fougnie, explained I had spoken with Mac. Mac had the car key ready. Richard proceeded with test drive, my husband and I found him extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He asked the right questions and provided more options I had not considered or thought were possible. Much to my surprise, Richard showed me that other classes of Mercedes were in my price range including a pre owned E350. We meet with Sam Master who is the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. We found he goes to the car auctions in person to select and purchase the best cars available. The R&H dealership appeared as a family affair involving excellent customer service, first rate products , purchase and financing all in the same shop. I then directed my internet search on Kelley Blue Book Certified Mercedes E350. Sam had given me the original car sticker and car facts report. Richard followed up as promised without pressure via phone. We returned to R&H, negotiated with Richard, were offered a reasonable price, and bought the car. We picked up the car in perfect condition. Richard had the paper work ready. I am so pleased and will continue to drive from Annapolis for service and any future purchase @ R&H. More
