I want to start off by expressing my gratitude for how well my son Zachary and I were treated at Maitland Mercedes Benz by Frank Whitton and Yvette Lookhoff. Thank you guys very much people like you reall well my son Zachary and I were treated at Maitland Mercedes Benz by Frank Whitton and Yvette Lookhoff. Thank you guys very much people like you really are hard to come by and make a difference in the world and my story below will show how this is so. I have purchased about 6 cars during my life so far and have never ever experienced anything remotely close to what I had last week. My week started off with a big decision, based around my son. 3 months prior we traded our SUV in for a more reliable car. Shortly after we realized that a small car was just not going to work out for a single mom in school with a growing boy. So after talking it over with family we decided to find a way to trade in my new car without too much negative equity and get a SUV that was reliable and that we enjoyed being in. After much research I decided on a Mercedes Benz GLK350. The closest location was Melinia Mercedes. My first trip there was with my son. We spoke with the sales guy told him our budget and situation. First he brought out a basic standard model which then I made clear what I was looking for in a new auto. So next he took me to a Vehicle out of our price range with Tv’s which my son fell in love with unfortunately. I then had to make it very clear again what I was looking for was and my budget yet again. Finally he said the only car he had was a Demo with 3,000 miles for 43,000. Finally at this point giving up I left. The next day I returned and decided I would go forward with the financing. I filled out all the paperwork required and was told to wait. After an hour my son became impatient asking to leave because he was tired, bored and hungry. After 4 hours had passed the sales man came back and said Mercedes credit had turned me down and so had everyone else and they would get back to me the next day. At this point the sales manager came over and started to tell us that we had actually not been turned down by Mercedes credit but they were waiting on their GM to return their phone call to approve my application because the buyers did not have the authority too. So he suggested we go home and he would call us as soon as their GM called them back but it would be no later than 11:30 the next day. So on the next day at 12 I Had not heard from the dealer so I called them and they said give them till 3. At that point I was frustrated and let down. As I was on auto trader beginning my search for another dealer I came across car at Maitland Mercedes so I decided to call them. When I called, the receptionist transferred me to Frank Whitton. I explained to him my situation and he said he would do his best to find out what was going on with the situation and if I wanted I could head down there. Feeling hopeless I drove to Maitland Mercedes. Where I was greeted and felt very welcomed right away. Right off the bat Frank told me the facts and did not feed me any lies. He had me fill out a new credit application and told me the real results within minutes. During this process we were shown to a waiting area which had computers (which entertained my bored son for hours) as well as snacks and beverages to keep his appetite at ease until we were finished. Although I was denied again by Mercedes credit at least he told me the truth and did not feed me false hope. However, he let me know there was another route to get me financed and possibly without a co-signer. This made me very happy as I wanted my car to just be in my name. He also laid the facts out for me, for example that I would indeed be paying a higher interest rate because the other route was a secondary lender and so forth. After a hour or so he let me know that they would contact the bank and get back with me. Seeing the disappointment in my face he asked me to hold on and came back shortly telling me they had the bank on the phone and was working out a deal. From that moment forward Frank went above and beyond to give me good customer service, actually it was superior Customer service. Finally after Frank and his co-workers finally got me a loan for the car we went to Yevette Lookhoff the finance director who also went out of her way to entertain my son and be patient and attend to our needs. We just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone at Mercedes of Maitland for helping my son and I get a car and attend to our needs at the same time. Because of this experience we will be returning customers for a life time. I enjoy telling this story to everyone I know at the hospital I work at, because we know the value of making someone feel special and important; especially when it’s much easier to just make someone feel like the next person in line. More

I've bought 3 cars from MB-Orlando since 2006, one used and two new. The organization is "top-shelf" from sales to service. I damaged a bumper recently and he went way out of the way assisting me with a cost-effective repair in the main shop. Sales are no-pressure negotiations and friendly. Car washes are complementary and a great opportunity to keep in touch with Frank, seeing new models in a no-pressure environment. It's also been fun shopping the MB merchandise in the service department while the car is washed. I can't imagine a more enjoyable car-buying experience than MB-Orlando and a more friendly, professional MB agent than Frank Whitton. More
