I bought my first Mercedes (after a Porsche) from Lou Gordon and Aaron Sales and could not be more pleased with Lou and Aaron and with the dealership as a whole. The entire buying experience led by Lou and Aaron was far and above what I experienced with my last car purchase. After the purchase Aaron spent a lot of time introducing my wife and I to the operation of the vehicle and especially all the electronics. He was not rushed and spent the time needed. I thought the price of the 2013 GLK diesel was reasonable and love the car so far. The little bit of experience I also have had with the Service and Parts Department so far was also just as satisfying as the buying experience. The service adviser, Ken Lamb, was every bit as professional and courteous as the sales team. I would strongly recommend Schumacher European and the sales and service departments specifically based on my experience to date. I have no reason to expect any of this will change in the future. My wife and I visited this dealership three separate times during our search for a new car (we had a hard time making up our minds) and two out of the three were fairly horrible. Our first visit went well but we ultimately decided the car (SL550) wasn't right for us. On our second visit, was less pleasant. In the middle of our visit, our salesman suddenly abandoned us for another couple saying, "Sorry, I gotta go make money." I guess he was under the impression that we lacked the ability to afford a Mercedes. Our third visit culminated with the salesman rudely asking, "Are you done with me now?" as we made our way to leave. From the other reviews here, I guess our experience was sort of an aberration or maybe it had something to do with the way I look personally. I'm not sure. In any event, although we had all but decided to purchase an E Class, the experience put us off getting a Mercedes. Instead, we went across the street to Audi of North Scottsdale where we were treated to the best car buying experience in some time. More

Chris was exceptional in the customer service he provided and exceeded my expectations. He listened to what I said and to what I wanted. He showed me the car, then ran the numbers, then prepared the paperwork in an expedient manner. He was polite, friendly and professional while continuing to ask me if he was meeting my needs. He was knowledgeable and a true pleasure to work with while completing the sale, not at all the typical car salesman. His focus was ensuring that he had a happy customer and a great experience and he was successful in achieving that goal. He made sure to show the features of the car while showing me how to use such features. Furthermore, he followed up with me after leaving the dealership to confirm that I was still happy and if I had any questions or if there was anything more he could do for me. Chris should be recognized for his efforts and I conveyed that information to the owner, Chris Schumacher, as it is a positive reflection on the dealership.
