My initial complaint is that they did not have my car in their system as being purchased at Ray Catena Mercedes, which is was. This was a headache on its own as I wasn't able to have a loaner vehicle unless I could prove that my vehicle was purchased there. After going back and forth, I was finally put into their system and granted a loaner. As mentioned, I dropped the vehicle off on a Wednesday and had to contact the service center on Friday to get an update. MY CAR WAS NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT. It sat there for days untouched. I was told that they would have an estimate for me on Saturday morning, which never happened. I finally received an estimate on Tuesday morning when I reached out to contact them yet again. Unbelievable. I declined all of their recommended services but had agreed to pay for Service A and a windshield wiper fluid fix when the car was dropped off. Unfortunately, my car needed Service B, but I was never notified of this either. I was charged $450 for the most basic job. $350 was for labor! They simply cleared the lines for the washer pump and changed the oil. I never felt so disrespected as a customer in my life. PLEASE do not go to this service center, it is poorly run, poorly managed and the communication level is non-existent. They had my car for nearly a week and the service completed was far overpriced. Every time I drop my car off, I get informed of a new issue. Unacceptable for the quality I expect. All issues are non wear and tear related. Service staff seems negligent and allows their customers to drive off regardless of the condition of the vehicle. I got stuck driving to Delaware while my dashboard began LIGHTING up informing me my break fluid is LOW! Car was just serviced at Benz 2 weeks prior to that….break fluid gets refilled, 1 week LATER same message pops up….come to find out the entire system (master cylinder and break booster) needs to be replaced! My break pedals work perfectly fine, stays in place and maintains vacuum! It seems that Ray Catena of Edison has made a habit of providing faulty information just to get a substantial amount of work done, with no results More

After verification I was informed that the tire cannot be repaired and as being a flat run tire it could have run for months with the nail in it. We decided to keep it as is and use it for as long as it would survive. But after service the nail was missing and tire went flat as soon as I left the center... Edgar from the service worked with me to get the best price and handled the situation impeccably which is appreciated. It could have got better stars, if they would have verified the car before providing it to customers More

Impossible to reach service advisor - always busy, never returns calls. You have to beg for loaner. Instead of loaner they offer cheap rental cars, embarracement to drive. The rental is a scam: they will impose charges for rental upon return. I removed all badges and anything which has "Ray Catena" name from my vehicle. I refuse to see that on my driveway. They have to understand that customers come for service, not for coffee and bagels. Stay away from that "family" experience. More
Ray Catena service center is terrible. The service man Guy Paione was rude, unprofessional. I have bought multiple cars from Ray and had been going there for last 25 years. When I told him that, his response was that "that's your fault, no one asked you to be a sucker". The same service you can get it done at half the price from any other certified Mercedes service. Very Rude Service Attitude Ten days after my car was completed a major service in this dealership in Sep, the battery went bad twice. They changed the battery without a price quote and charged us for battery plus $200+ of labor fee. We asked the reason for this charge and questioned why the problem happened in 10 days after the major service. We got a Very Rude attitude and shouting from the service adviser and the worst Service Manager we have ever met. Showing no respect to customers at all. It is hard to believe a horrible Ray Catena Way of service! More

The associate named Guy took my information and I got a car ride home. Normally the call at noon giving an update of what's going on but this time I got no calls. So at 4pm I decided to call myself. The associate returned my call and said everything was ready and they would send a car to pick me up. When I reached the dealership the invoice said the problem was identified and fixed, but when the car came around the problem was still there. I showed it to another associate and he said he had no knowledge and guy would know. He agreed that the problem wasn't fixed even after their qa checks etc. So after 8 hours all I had is a car wash. I have to schedule another appointment now and hope they can get this act together this time More
