Gregory Giordano was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the autos for sale. I had no problem eliminating the cars I did not like and choosing the one I did like. I was looking to lease a new vehicle since Feb. 2011 when I returned my Leased Cadillac CTS. I would consider myself being a smart shopper and someone with experience in leasing vehicles. I visited about 50 dealerships while I searched for my new vehicle to lease. I look at Infiniti, Cadillac, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Nissan, Hyundai and even Kia. I actually walked out of an Infiniti deal back in Feb. 2011 because of the way the sales person spoke to my children and sales manager was too pushy in signing paperwork and running my credit card. I have seen in my lifetime all the games and lies and pushy sale men and managers. I was given numbers over the phone at some of these places and when I went to get theses deals the numbers drastically changed. I was losing hope in leasing my new vehicle, until Oct. 2011 when I met Tim from Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Edison. I first spoke with Tim over the phone. I told Tim what vehicle I was interested in leasing and what numbers I was given from three other Mercedes dealerships. Tim located and pulled from the docks the exact 2012 C300 4Matic Sports Seden, in the color and with all the features I wanted. He actually had my new vehicle trailered in, in less then a weeks time. Tim beat, every deal I was offered from other local Mercedes dealerships. But it meant more to me then just getting good numbers. Tim, handeled my whole leasing deal without having to bring in other mangers or people to get me the deal I wanted. I am sure Tim had to get his managers approval. But I did all my business with Tim directly. Remember my car was not even in inventory at Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Edison. Tim did not make me sign any paperwork or even take a deposit from me. Most dealerships are so pushy. The want you to sign paperwork and want to get your credit card as fast as they can. Tim was a total gentleman and someone that told me when I pickup my car I can sign the paperwork and leave my deposit. Wow, what a difference from dealing with the other 90% of dealerships. Tim treated my family with respect. Got my kids MBENZ Hats, and through in some other goodies for my kids and I. He even made sure I took their MBENZ Services Plan, at no cost to me, and included it in my deal. Tim honered everything he said he would do for me and never reneged on anything. Tim explained everything to me in detail and went over any questions I had about my vehicle with expertise. I have the upmost respect for Tim and just about every employee I met there. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I can see why Ray Catena has had such a succesful business for so many years. You are always greated in a friendly manner when you enter the dealership. When my vehicle was picked up it was in well prepped conditon. The delivery specialist Mr. Don Dorr went thoughly through my new vehicle with me and showed me how everything worked. I even got a chance today to visit Ray Catena service and was very impressed. I spoke to a service tech about my vehicle. All my questions were answered with expertise and without being rushed. Being a skeptical customer I have to say that my whole experience at Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Edison was absoultly wonderful. In today’s hectic environment, we often forget to thank people for a job well done, or complement someone when we receive exceptional service or attention. My wife and I had the opportunity to lease a Mercedes from your dealership back in December of 2008, dealing with Mr. Ken Giordano. He made the experience a pleasant one. Coming out of several BMW’s my wife was apprehensive about the vehicle, but warmed up to it over time. Fast forward to today. I received a call about one month ago, from Greg Giordano, explaining the programs that were available to us, and he stated if we were interested, to let him know. No pressure, not hard sales pitch. We came in to look at a new vehicle but my wife had her mind made up that she was going to get a new BMW. Throughout the conversations Greg did not pressure us into a decision, in fact he encouraged us to compare what your dealership had to offer and he was confident that we would return. He was right. Once we decided, he made the experience easy, with most of the paperwork being completed via email. He is a professional, and adds credibility to the dealership. Upon delivery, he was again, supportive and knowledgeable, explaining the lease return process and working with the delivery team to explain the functions of the new car to my wife and I. In today’s environment, with the proliferation of information on pricing and reviews, many would say that where you buy the car doesn’t matter. Based on my experience with your dealership, I can say they are wrong. It is not always about price. Service and integrity are still something we should recognize. More
