For two years I've been looking for a 2013 to 2014 Ford F150 Raptor. I wanted the luxury package, Retrax bed cover & liner. And, if possible, a Roush supercharger with the Roush pipes. My perfect pick up. F150 Raptor. I wanted the luxury package, Retrax bed cover & liner. And, if possible, a Roush supercharger with the Roush pipes. My perfect pick up. I've seen about a handful of such pick ups nationwide but something was always amiss. In particular, the dealerships prior to Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines didn't help me much. This all changed once I found the truck of my dreams at the Des Moines dealership. The salesman David Cardenas & his manager Ryan Winroth helped me every step of the way in securing my Raptor. More
Brahim is the best. He took my calls when I didn’t realize he was on vacation. We decided to buy both our cars from him at Mercedes’ in Clive Iowa He took my calls when I didn’t realize he was on vacation. We decided to buy both our cars from him at Mercedes’ in Clive Iowa More
They lie and service after the sale is horrible. Don’t stand behind what they sell and if there’s an issue they just say “well you bought a used car”. A very good dealer. I’ve used dozens over the years and these guys are up there with the best. Dealers can be stressful, but not here. A very good experience, thanks! 2014 Chevy Cruze. I bought this car on 3/12/22. I live 3 hours away so I put down a deposit to hold it until I was able to test drive the vehicle. Everything seemed to I bought this car on 3/12/22. I live 3 hours away so I put down a deposit to hold it until I was able to test drive the vehicle. Everything seemed to check out ok except I thought the clutch was slipping. I brought this up to them before I signed any papers and they say multiple techs had driven it and it was checked out during the presale inspection and assured me that it was fine. They then told me if I was concerned about the clutch to buy the extended warranty which does not cover the clutch so I declined. On my way home about an hour out of des moines the clutch started slipping pretty bad. I had to baby the car all the way home and had a hard time even staying at the speed limit or getting to that point especially on hills. I called the and all they had to say is it was sold as is and they wouldn’t do anything about it. When I finally was able to get home I had it checked out by a qualified mechanic and guess what he said I needed a new clutch so now I’m waiting on the part so I can have a functioning car. I will never go back to this place again. On a side note I had to pay $700 for LoJack that they installed and I never wanted. They said it had to be paid for and wouldn’t take it out. STAY AWAY!!! I'd been trying to buy a car for a couple of years, but with the pandemic, I couldn't find what I wanted. A car popped up here, so we went to test drive it, and fell in love. And it is a great car. Our with the pandemic, I couldn't find what I wanted. A car popped up here, so we went to test drive it, and fell in love. And it is a great car. Our salesman was good, the service department is fabulous. The issue? We bought the car outright, and the finance guy was horrible. He literally talked to my husband, while I sat there and I finally had to tell him this is MY car, I'm buying it with MY money, with a check that has MY name on it, my husband just needs to be listed on the paperwork as a co-owner. And he brushed me off and said that he already did the paperwork, my name was still on it, I was just secondary, so if something happened to my husband, I could still have rights. WTAF?!? Then he would only speak to my husband, had my husband sign the papers, talked to my husband about HIS trade in. Yet the car we traded in was mine, not my husband's, and when I told him that, he said it didn't matter, he just needed my husband's signature. I maintained explaining yet again that this was my car, not my husband's, and even though I'm a woman, I'm allowed to own property. And the finance guy brushed me off again, saying that it was fine, my name is still on it, but he already did the paperwork with husband first and he was not going to do it again. Look, I've purchased cars before. I have never been treated this way. I've always been first listed on my car and signed all my own paperwork. He then said, oh, all the paperwork will still be in your name, everything will come straight to you. So when we got a refund check for the overpayment of registration? You guessed it - only in my husband's name. I couldn't even cash the refund check for my own car. My license plates? Also in my husband's name. I have never seen a more blatant case of misogyny in my life, and it was truly disgusting. And yet I bought the car, because there's no used cars available, and I needed it. However, I feel like I should tell everyone that their finance department is gross, and if you're a woman - beware. Also, they have mandatory dealer add-ons ($650 plus tax) that they refuse to tell you about until you've already signed, and they refuse to take off. Overall, this is the worst car buying experience that I've ever had, and I would highly encourage anyone looking at a Mercedes to go ahead and drive to Omaha or Minneapolis. This is a great place for service, terrible for buying. More
They lie , after you've made your purchase the brush you off when you question the things they said that are found to be untrue. I purchased 2 vehicles from them when I should have followed my first mind an off when you question the things they said that are found to be untrue. I purchased 2 vehicles from them when I should have followed my first mind and never went back after I was lied to on the first purchase. I'm very disappointed because I trusted the name and wasn't looking at the people I was dealing with. I feel like I was scammed in a sense. I will be contacting the attorney Generals consumer complaints department. I will also be seeking legal advise. More
We just bought a vehicle here and it was the worst experience I have had with a car dealership in my life. I had a feeling that I couldn't trust the salesperson, Kristian Ramirez, and I should have li experience I have had with a car dealership in my life. I had a feeling that I couldn't trust the salesperson, Kristian Ramirez, and I should have listened to my instincts. I doubt that most of the reviews here are from actual happy customers because if he lied to me the way that he did and was defended fully by his boss, I doubt it is an uncommon experience. We were told that the vehicle had new tires and we trusted him. We should have been more diligent in our inspection but we trusted the salesperson because it is a Mercedes dealership. It turns out that after having the vehicle inspected by Beckley automotive, the tires need to be replaced within the month. I am not a mechanic and should not be expected to be able to diagnose every problem the vehicle has. I trusted that what he was telling me was true. I am in sales and I never have to lie to make a sale but apparently, that's the type of person they keep on staff at Mercedes if DSM. In addition to the worn-out tires, the engine light was on at the time of sale but was off during the test drive. They told us just as they were handing us the keys and after we had signed paperwork. They said they couldn't get it to turn off but after taking it to Beckley, they were able to resolve it with a 15-minute visit and the light has been off for a week now. The brake fluid was dirty as well when they told us EVERYTHING had been taken care of mechanically speaking. When I spoke with the manager about the problem, he kept interrupting me and then told me I needed to let HIM finish speaking. In the end, he hung up on me. I could maybe understand that had I swore at him or called him names or something but I was simply voicing my frustration with the lack of honesty from the salesperson. If he honestly didn't know, that is understandable but that is when you do whatever is necessary to make things right. In this case that would be replacing at least the two tires that need to be replaced within the month. He instead said he would sell me some tires for cheap. Why would I BUY tires from them when they already lied to me or at least misinformed me and then didn't do anything to make it right. If you go here to get your car, make sure you have it inspected by a third party first and if they don't allow that, then don't proceed because it is likely that there is something they are not telling you. I could never recommend anyone to buy a car from this place and for sure stay away from Kristian. I doubt the other salespeople there are much better but I can only speak to how we were treated by him and his boss. More
