Amazing Sprinter Team Let me preface by saying I am a certified BMW technician myself. I brought my older Sprinter van in for service as it was stalling at at idle. As usual Steve Bergeron the service writer and Carl the Sprinter technician took great care of me. At one point Carl, Steve and I had a 15 minute conference phone call to discuss my issue. That is unheard of service for an auto dealer. I continue to say that car dealerships and airlines are 2 of the remaining horribly non-customer centric businesses. Mercedes Burlington is THE EXCEPTION to this. It really is the best dealership I know. Thank you to Steve and Carl for continued excellent service for over 3 years now. More
Would not honor vehicle warranty Bought a Metris van from Mercedes Benz of Burlington. Purchase experience was fine. When it had a fuel leak, they fixed that fine and gave us a loan Bought a Metris van from Mercedes Benz of Burlington. Purchase experience was fine. When it had a fuel leak, they fixed that fine and gave us a loaner. No problem. At 22,000 miles, both of the van's left side tires were worn out at the outer edge. The evenly worn right side tires had more than 1/2 of their wear left which is what I would expect. At around 11,000 miles the tires had been rotated by the dealer, so each tire had spent around equal time front and rear. In my opinion, the most likely scenario was that the alignment (camber) was off on either the front left or rear left, when the vehicle was delivered to us and that each left side tire wore on the outside when it was on the offending location, but the dealer did not notice, as they should, when they rotated the tires, thus ruining a second tire. I thought a fair resolution was to measure the right side for wear and to prorate the replacement of the left tires based on that wear and do a free alignment. That way I would pay for the wear I did get out of those two tires, but they would pay for the balance that was caused from the faulty alignment. Steven Bergeron, their service adviser, thought I should have to pay for two tires and alignment, in other words, pay for the entire repair. He explained that the alignment could have gone out if we hit a pothole just after taking delivery. Further, he said that the 22,000 mile life was normal for those tires. He also said that when the tires were rotated, there must have been even wear. His explanation for the perfectly even wear on one side was that we loaded the van unevenly causing excessive wear on one side, a condition we had not seen on any van we have ever owned, and, in my opinion, a ridiculous assertion. He refused to admit that the most reasonable explanation was that it left the factory with bad left side alignment and that both left side tires were damaged due to this, or at least that the second had to be due to their neglect in not seeing the uneven wear when they did the tire rotation. I told him that either I had a better understanding of cause and effect and that he was incompetent, or else he was trying to rip me off. He accused me of calling him a name--I called him no names--and hung up on me. I spoke to the salesman, David Skrocki, who sold me the vehicle. He understood my position and it was resolved by me paying for one of the two tires and they did the alignment for free. I paid $75 more for the tire than if I had bought the identical tire from Sullivan Tire, but I was tired of arguing. Had they resolved this immediately, the way they eventually did, and had Steve Bergeron apologized for his rude behavior (or not been rude in the first place), I would have given them five stars, but for me this was a clear case of Steve Bergeron attempting to rip me off. His explanation, on several levels, would make no sense to anyone who has experience with repairing or diagnosing vehicles. More

Exceeded expectations. I called the dealership when I saw a used car; they confirmed availability and set up a time to see the car that day. The salesman, Tim Daley, went over the vehicle, took me for a test drive and shared the info. about the car. The vehicle had not yet been through their inspection process, so although I put a deposit down, they were not sure they would retail it because it was a fresh trade and may not meet their standards. Both Tim and the sales manager Lenny Goldwasser explained their process and assured me if they were going to sell the car it would be up to their standards. Tim called me promptly the next day, told me they had done an inspection and would be replacing parts of the suspension, brakes, and the rear-window defroster (which they tested in the middle of July) to bring it to their standards. He prioritized the service so it could be delivered in time for an upcoming trip we had planned. The sales manager even offered me a ride on the day of delivery when he found out we lived in the same town. The paperwork was taken care of by Steven Baker who was professional, down-to-earth, and straightforward about the options I could purchase for added protection. This is usually where I end up annoyed during the buying process because it's a full court press to purchase all of the options. Not the case here--I went over the options and was not pushed or oversold on anything I was not interested in buying. While waiting I was given coffee and offered food. My son came with me and had a great time checking out all of the cars on display and also had a bite to eat while we waited. I have bought many cars in the past 30 years and this was by far the most exceptional service I have received. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a Benz or a used car they have listed. More
