Was found a preowned vehicle online that had just recently been put on market by MB of Buckhead. I called in and inquired and was informed that the car wasn't ready yet and that it was still being p recently been put on market by MB of Buckhead. I called in and inquired and was informed that the car wasn't ready yet and that it was still being pre-inspected prior to me being able to test drive it. They call rep took my number and told me she would call me when the car was ready to be viewed. Next day I received a follow up call to tell me the vehicle was ready to be test driven and that it was now out of the inspection process and so I told them to please set up an appointment for an hour later and to have the car ready for me. I arrive at the dealership on time (an hour after I got the call). Upon my arrival for the test drive I am told that the car has already been sold?!?! Not only that but the information found online about the vehicle in question was inaccurate. No one attempted to call to inform me the car had sold while I was on my way to the dealership, and no one offered to compensate me for my time or the inconvenience they caused. Be careful when dealing with MB of Buckhead! More
The price for the care was great, I used USAA Buying service. Malcolm did a great job during the test drive showing me the features. The problems I experienced we are as follows, I did the test drive and ask that someone contact me after weekend, becuase I had a few questions about finding a vechile with the exact features I wanted, plus I wanted to think about it becuase I was comparing a BMW. No one called immediately the following week. Finally Cole called to see if I was ok and had any questions. Once I purchased the car, I had problems getting the title and tags in Maryland where I wanted to regisiter the car. My temporary tags expired before I got my tags so I had to park the $60k car for 4 days and my wife had to move her flt, and pay $100 change fee, to fly here to GA to get everything resolved in MD. The issue was that MD stated they did not get all the paperwork from the dealer. When I talked to Owen, he mentioned there was some issues with the first Cert Of Orgin and another had to be order which delayed them sending the data to MD. MD did not receive any data from the dealer until 2 days before my temp tags expired. Once My wife went to get the tags the day before they expired and they said they didn't have everything from the dealer. I called and emailed Malcolm a day before they expired asking for the paperwork but did not hear back. Finally I called and talk to Owen and went to the dealer to personally get copies of the paperwork to fax to MD. Orginally when I completed the paperwork to purchase the car it was late and I think everyone was in a hurry to get out so I was never provided copies of all the paper work once the deal was completed. I completed the paperwork with finance the day before I picked up the car so I believe somewhere they may have thought I would get it when I picked up the car but on that day no one from finance was in. More
