After my car was repaired at another shop following an accident, I started seeing several warning messages about malfunctions on the screen. I brought my car to the Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills Service Cen accident, I started seeing several warning messages about malfunctions on the screen. I brought my car to the Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills Service Center to address the issue. They kept it for a few days, and the advisor, Harry Atalaryan, informed me that they had run all tests, and resolved some of the issues. He also mentioned that the previous shop disconnected everything and were unable to put it back together and that is why I had all of the warning messages. But then, he said that the auxiliary battery needed to be replaced—for a cost of $500. I declined the battery replacement because it didn’t make sense to me that the accident, which caused great body damage on the front right side, wouldn't also affect the battery connections since it is located on the same side of the damaged area. BTW, the battery replacement costs half as much at other shops. When I picked up the car, all the same warning messages about the battery malfunction and blind spot assist being inoperative were still present on the screen. This clearly indicates the issue is likely related to the sensors, connections, or even the computer system itself—not the battery. I tried to reach the advisor several times, but my attempts were unsuccessful. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience and urge someone to take action to resolve this matter properly. More
The dealership exhibits a lack of punctuality regarding the return of my vehicle. They consistently fail to provide a courtesy vehicle and resort to charging me for repairs that are not covered by my warra the return of my vehicle. Notably, my engine light illuminated once more after I left the dealership, rendering me unable to complete my immediate tasks. I came in with my engine light on- and got immediate assistance on a Saturday from Lauren Baumann who took care of everything on the spot.
