Approximately two weeks after repair and the car is leaning to the right again. Not only is the the front passenger side low, but now the rear Left side is low too. We waited a month and a half for the leaning to the right again. Not only is the the front passenger side low, but now the rear Left side is low too. We waited a month and a half for the repair to be finished, but it was expensive. Very disappointed that we are going to have to bring the car in again. Not what I expect from Mercedes Benz. More
On my 3rd Mercedes’ 2nd purchased with Beaverton Mercedes’. Drove this car off the lot just over 2 years ago smelled oil burning took it back to get plates and you couldn’t find a leak brought it i Mercedes’. Drove this car off the lot just over 2 years ago smelled oil burning took it back to get plates and you couldn’t find a leak brought it into wilsonville 10 months later with same smell. tech looked at it for less than 20 seconds and said can’t see it??? When the alternator went out you did cover it out of warranty but the oil leak that caused alternator to go out should have been fixed the 1st or 2nd time you looked at it. This time instead of actually looking to see what was wrong Andy/Ryan said it needed a battery and a new starter which I found out later after a mechanic tore the car apart to get starter out that it did not need a new starter because the starter worked fine. Ryan’s explanation was they didn’t inspect it but said that kind of problem is common!when asked why didn’t you inspect it properly your tech said I didn’t pay for it to be. I was never given opportunity to authorize it. I had it towed there because I thought Mercedes’ of Beaverton was a Reputable company! I was expecting a professional to inspect it! You also said the area I pointed out that was melted that was near the area in which your technician worked on the broken alternator had nothing to do with what was going on. Ok then how do we correct it? Ryan and Andy said the melted apiece was there before which it wasn’t otherwise it would have been put on the list of other things that needed to be corrected. When your people changed the story after I pointed out it wasn’t there before and they said it was rodents that chewed through it where it clearly was melted I felt like your staff was treating me like an idiot! I ended up paying over 800 dollars in labor to replace a starter that didn’t need to be! I’m sure glad I didn’t pay you 1808 dollars to replace what didn’t need yo be fixed! I will never buy a Mercedes’ from you again but more importantly I will never refer you again! May sound like a threat but I know of 4 people I’ve sent your direction that purchased very expensive models! More
