Whoever "inspected" the car deleted a check engine code. Using my OBD2 scanner, I was able to see the outstanding codes. The clutch was shot. I get that an inspection would entail dropping the transmission but I figure Mercedes-Benz would view that as an inspection standard. I guess I trusted the inspection process be Mercedes-Benz to be more detail oriented than I assumed. A clutch was not something I thought I'd have to fix within the first couple hundred miles. I was told" I talked to my manager and he said unfortunately because you didn't get the vehicle repair protection there is nothing we can do". However this statement is false and a mute point due to the fact that a clutch isn't covered in any realm of "vehicle repair protection". Regardless of the heavily negative points, I would say that the only positive takeaway was that Harto was friendly. More
I bought a C300 in July 2024, my salesman was Will, about 2-3 weeks later I took the car back to the dealer. I noticed that the car was shaking when I pressed the brakes, Will drove the car with me on the pa 2-3 weeks later I took the car back to the dealer. I noticed that the car was shaking when I pressed the brakes, Will drove the car with me on the passenger side. Will stated that was a feature of this car and when the brakes warmed up this goes away. The shaking got worse and I took it in for service. The service guy Marcus called me and told me it was the brakes and rotors. I was sold a car with bad brakes and rotors and they want me to pay a 1,000 to have new brakes and rotors installed. I guess I didn’t buy a big enough Mercedes. I’m very unhappy with Mercedes of Augusta. More
