We are very sorry about your experience. We looked in our system to try to find the customer to respond to. If this is Rubin Pacheko with Evolution Investment Group on a 1999 SLK. Older vehicles typically take longer to diagnose. This particular vehicle had water intrusion which caused the alarm system to constantly go off as well as other electrical concerns. Our technicians diagnosed the vehicle but the repairs were severe enough where you decided not to authorize any of the repairs. By choosing not to complete any repairs, the diagnostic fee was still owed as the technician spent several hours diagnosing the vehicle. We would love to discuss further if you would have time to call our Service Manager.
