We have always had good service until this last problem. In Aug 2023, we took the suv in because usb was not working for CarPlay. They determined USB was defective and ordered a replacement. Early October, we called the dealership inquiring as to what happened to the part. We were told they didn’t have it, then they said they had it. We made an appt for following week. Told we have to leave car overnight. ???? What is the sense of an appt then. At appt, we were told it needed a software update, but they will probably have it ready later that day. A couple of hours later, we are told usb works just fine! Apparently, it was the MB adapter cable. Why that wasn’t caught at initial evaluation in August IDK. Software update was done. Service advisor John was great and got us through in one day. However, I feel that MB jerked us around with not evaluating problem correctly to begin with and not following up when part arrived. Basically, not good customer service. More
