I brought my vehicle in for diagnostic and service in April 2022. The service was completed in December. Talking with some of the dealership staff this happens.I have an older Mercedes and the needed parts were still available. I discovered what happened during a visit to the dealership to check on the status on my vehicle. I brought this to the attention of one of the service advisors, she was able to photograph the damage. I also spoke with the service manager, and he advised me, after checking with the parts department. the needed parts were still available. I was billed $2,000+ to repair this. When the trunk lock was repaired the trunk was not adjusted properly and doesn't set correctly. Also trying to communicate by phone often results in phone tag, I did find sending a text helped. I have been a client for several years, and this has not been a pleasant experience! More
