Wife and I moved to Washington State back in Mar of 2020, right in the middle of COVID-19 lock down and we needed a car for our new home. We tried buying one from various dealers in the area but unfortunate right in the middle of COVID-19 lock down and we needed a car for our new home. We tried buying one from various dealers in the area but unfortunately no one had a SUV in the configuration we wanted. Jason Ewell of Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma was the sales rep who helped us work out a custom factory order for a Mercedes GLE 450 and did a really good job. We took delivery of the SUV recently and is very pleased with it. There was only 1 hiccup with the custom order but we didn't mind it, when we specified the options we wanted, the HUD was an option that I specified but was left out in the final build. I did receive the factory configuration but even though I informed Jason of the missing HUD option, it was already too late to change it at the factory. This would be the only recommendation I have for Mercedes, that they should always get confirmation from the customer before starting the build. More
