I saw the vehicle I was interested in online and communicated with Chad via phone, email, and text. After some discussion and back and forth negotiating I requested a total out the door price in writing…which he actually provided me. In my experience dealers do not like to do this. I appreciated that Chad was forthcoming when he told me that they couldn’t lower the price to my original offer. Many salesmen will tell you whatever you want to hear…only to get you in there and change their price after you’ve taken the car for a test drive. The written quote was the peace of mind I wanted before I committed to making the 65 mile trip to the dealership. When I arrived he was ready to assist me. I already had my 3rd party financing setup ahead of time. I'm very leery of car dealerships and the xxxxxxsome implement to maximize their profit. I've done my homework and I think Chad could tell that I’m a well-informed consumer. Chad respected my wishes and didn't attempt to force me into doing things I didn't want to do (like financing through them for example). Once we got the process rolling he handed me off to Bryan in their Finance Department for the title work. For some reason the total price came out to $25 higher than what Chad had quoted. Bryan spent 20 minutes figuring out how to make it match perfectly. I was impressed as it was only $25 after all. It was a very smooth car buying experience. I went on a weekday morning when they weren’t too busy. I think that contributed to the laid back atmosphere and was beneficial in making me feel as if they valued my business. More

I thanked him for his time then he called back to let me know something had happened and the car was now available again but we needed to move things quickly to secure it, he worked with me until 10;00 that night getting everything in order and the car locked down for me to purchase. He really went out of his way to be helpful through the whole process from the beginning to the end and even called a day or so later to check and make sure everything was ok with the car. The only thing I would say is that I was thinking the offer on my RT Classic was a little lower than I thought it should be but have to say in their defense they were selling the Hellcat at list price and so many dealers here in Louisiana and elsewhere are marking them up anywhere from $5,000 to as high as $20,000 over MSRP so dealing with an honest dealer offsets the difference on my trade. I would strongly recommend Chris King and Meador Dodge for someone looking for a vehicle to check them out. More
