My husband and I took the day off just to go see Lonnie because two days prior we spent the 7 hours at Holt Dodge in Arlington purchasing a car for my son under false pretenses that if we bought 2 vehicles we would get a better deal on ours. NOT True! After the deal was made on our sons new vehicle they switched managers on us and he went home and we were left to deal with someone who didn't know the story or care. So I took my car key, my husband and left but not before the manager met us in the dark parking lot and wanted to argue with us. So off to Meador Chrysler Dodge Monday morning to see Lonnie we went with all our paperwork, smiling faces at the door, great attitudes from everyone we met and were treated so kind. This place was clean, quiet and so organized. We got the same vehicle we picked out 2 days earlier at a better price, got a better trade in for my car and left happy and with a $50 gift card. No stress that day! Thank you Meador Dodge and Thank you Lonnie Smoots! More

We went out of town but communicated by phone with Lonnie Smoots, referred by a friend of ours, and made a deal for the jeep to pick up upon our return (12/26). We were asked to put a deposit down on the Jeep to secure it and we complied with that request. After two days of unanswered phone calls and emails, we were told that a manager sold our Jeep on 12/26 without our knowledge. The Sales Manager claimed to attempt to locate another Jeep for us but said one was not available within a 2000 mile radius. However, my wife located the exact Jeep in Conroe Texas. We were forced to purchase from them and drive to Conroe to ensure my son received his Christmas present. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT A DEALERSHIP WOULD SELL A JEEP EARMARKED FOR A CUSTOMER ESPECIALLY AFTER A DEPOSIT WAS PUT DOWN ON IT.... MikeO More
Great Selection, nice atmosphere, good people I had done a ton of Homework on the car I wanted, the car dealers who have it and even the people I thought I might like to deal with. Went to Meador because of their large inventory and good reviews. When I walked into the door, I asked for Kevin Eidson or Thomas Payne. We immediately were sat down with Thomas, who ended up being an excellent part of our experience. Thomas was very knowledgeable and quick to sit us in the first car on our list. He was able to point out and explain all the features of the vehicle. Mind you this is a dealership and they do everything they can to sell you as much as you might afford. As a prepared buyer, I had signed up for and printed out a few "Guaranteed pricing" certificates from True Car, which helped me negotiate for an ok final price on a car that had most of what I wanted. Though Thomas did his job for the dealership, adding on as much as he could for their business, he was extremely pleasant to work with and made our experience an excellent one. So go prepared and know what you want, and ask for Thomas to help you through the process with ease. We highly recommend him! Buying a car still takes time. I haven't seen a lot of reviews mentioning it, but the we arrived at 10am, left around 4pm, so 6 hours total to buy a new car. It was a Saturday, so they were busy, the last hour was waiting for the car out of detail shop which was only suppose to be 15 minutes. Be cautious at the close out financing. This is where the "Scare Tactics" were most pressing, as they try to sell you on additional coverage above and beyond the basic warranty. It came across to me as insurance in addition to the car insurance you might already have, but then I carry a fairly strong coverage through my insurance company. If you only have moderate to low car insurance, you might want to consider this additional dealer insurance to cover your investment. Oh, and Amanda at reception was cute and friendly and checked in with us a few times during the process just to make sure we were comfortable, completing our overall pleasant experience! More
very bad service I took my car there to get it serviced...the mechanic names Ray looked at my car, when he put it up on the lift he damaged my driver door. of course h I took my car there to get it serviced...the mechanic names Ray looked at my car, when he put it up on the lift he damaged my driver door. of course he neglected to tell me. he claimed he had to take it for a test drive. after he came back he pulled to the back of the shop. when i inquired were my car was he pulled it out to me and showed me the damage. The good part is they took responsible for the damage and said they would fix it. I had to ask for something to drive while they fixed it. Almost three weeks later and $60. in extra gas my wife went down to find out were our car was...they couldn't tell her anything...she gave her phone # they said they would call her...they never did!!! So i went down there the next day, found my car, it was in an unsecured place and unlocked!!! So when i went and complained they told me they still had a to service it and to come back that afternoon. so i went back down that afternoon and found it being washed, so i waited and when the kid pulled it out of the wash he drove off the lot, so i followed...mind u he was in my dodge dart and i was in a jeep and i was right behind him and could not catch him...he drove my car like he was in a lamborghini!!! When i caught him i ask him why he thought he had the right to drive my car that way??!! i instructed him to drive my car back to the dealership like he was driving Miss Daisy. When i got back to the dealership i was very upset and heatedly expressed my option to the service manager and his attitude was like why you so upset...like it was no big deal, in fact from the GM down they had more dislike about me being upset then how i was treated!!!! Do not buy a car there or have your car serviced there... they do not treat your property with respect...if that young man drove my car that was he will drive yours that way too....the GM and the service Manager is a very poor example of customer service!!! if act the service manager turn to me as if he was going to try and start a fight with me!!!! Their very inept when it comes to giving you the service you came in there for!!! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE...FORGET ABOUT IT!!! THEY TREAT YOUR CAR LIKE IT AINT WORTH NOTHING AND IF YOU GET UPSET, THERE ANSWER IS LEAVE!!! BUYER BEWARE AND PLEASE DON'T GET YOUR CAR SERVICED THERE!!! IT WILL COSTED BIG TIME IN THE END More

I started from local dealerships to Dallas then to my last stop in fort worth at Meador. Soon as I arrived I didn't have salesman running towards me with pitch forks and 100 questions. I felt good strolling threw there inventory and looking at my own pace. I saw a employee that was organizes the vehicles and details them I asked her if i could ask her a few questions and she said yes, I asked the polite women how long has she worked here? how is this dealership for someone like me looking to buy? she informed me that this place was family owned and she loved working there and the people she works with are friendly. I felt more at ease and better, she then told me to ask for Kevin hes a salesman that is very straight forward and a laid back guy. This is what i was looking for ! no haggling back and forth, Soon as I walked into the dealership i was amazed on how friendly the staff was and they even walked me over to Kevin's office. I introduced myself and told him what i was looking for and what i wanted to look at. Kevin was very fast and he had no problem finding the keys and out the door we went. I test drove two vehicles and told Kevin i was ready to deal he drew up some numbers i wrote down another number and boom we was both happy with what was on paper. I am not like most people who try and go to a dealership and buy off of hopes and dreams you know your price range and you know what you can afford and I tell you what. I have already told my friends about this place and my salesman how he didn't pressure me or even steer me away from the vehicles i was looking at to look at something i couldn't afford. Kevin if your reading this I want to say thank you for everything. I am very happy with my buy and I will drive my hour and half trip for my free car wash lol. I will definitely be back to buy from this place and from Kevin. Why do I bother with this consistently poor auto dealer. After I bought a 2014 ram truck here I have had nothing but poor service. They didn't know what a receiver hitch adapter was; actually said this at service desk. Couldn't tell me about oil change interval (6.7 diesel). Scheduled my recall notices 2 weeks ago and left my truck yesterday; didn't get done yesterday; didn't get done today; maybe tomorrow; not going to leave it to find out. Won't return my calls; I have to go to dealership to get any answers. Absolutely would not ever do business with again and would never recommend this dealership. Don't buy from this dealership. You'll be sorry. More
