With several visits for charging and battery issues, they refused to got to bat with corporate or possible the dealership's management to resolve - instead, they point to the charging unit (best in class and replaced twice already at their require with same quality). I mentioned this at this visit and Jim stated that if they can get it to charge then I would need to replace my charger again - even though the only consistent variable is the car, not the charger. The latest visit was for the car not charging (again), but this pointed to an EV coolant issue. They identified the issue as a radiator leak and willing to fix for $1300. Checking online, I found service service bulletins related to this issue as a result of manufacturing issues, but apparently these were not even reviewed by the tech. I could not afford the repair and paid the $284 diagnostic charge. I had requested all service codes found and where the leak was. Got a list before leaving and promise they would call back to tell where the leak was. Got in my car then found none of the codes were cleared, even though topping off fluid should have cleared the issue (temporarily) and would have allowed me to charge again; I received no call back on location of the leak. Stopped at an auto part store on the way home and had them pull codes (yes, I was suspicious at this point) and found a half dozen more codes that were not reported to me. I am now working with a (non-dealership) expert on hybrid's. I have provided the findings from this visit and all other visits at McLoughlin. After initial review, they were quite concerned that the McLoughlin team is either really not technically prepared to work on EVs successfully or are simply trying to prevent a warranty claim for the charging system to Chevy - stating I my need to get a lawyer involved. So disappointed with this shop and it's ability to satisfactory resolve EV charging issues under warranty. More

I needed a car with better fuel economy, better driver comfort, better driver support like lane assist, back up camera, crosswalk alert if a person's nearby (blindspot), better headlight navigation, cruise control. I got all this and more! Heated seats, heated steering wheel, hacked my whole phone into the car's large screen!!!
