May 2025: Abysmal service department experience at McLoughlin Chevrolet with a warranty issue on a 2023 large SUV. - The service department took 3 weeks to incorrectly diagnose our "whiny transmiss McLoughlin Chevrolet with a warranty issue on a 2023 large SUV. - The service department took 3 weeks to incorrectly diagnose our "whiny transmission". McLoughlin Chevrolet had our car from May 1 to May 22. - After the first backordered parts replacement, the vehicle failed final inspection two different times, resulting in delays due to backordered parts. - When returned to us, we noticed the same whine in the transmission. - We took it to a GMC dealer down the street from McLoughlin Chevrolet. - Within hours, the GMC dealer called to tell us they found metal shavings in the transmission fluid, most likely from grinding gears in the transmission, which is what is causing the "whiny sound". And they said the prior maintenance team had overfilled the transmission fluid. - Now we have been without our vehicle for another 3 weeks because McLoughlin Chevrolet missed the fact that the transmission needed to be replaced. On top of that, while our 3-row vehicle was being incorrectly diagnosed for 3 weeks, McLoughlin Chevrolet gave us a smaller, 2-row EV that could not be charged at our house. But, they did offer for us to bring it to the dealer to be charged up during the 3 weeks…not helpful. More

Not responsive after the sale. Took over a month to recieve new plates they the dealership did not send the paperwork into the registration office untik I called numerous times. My temporary plates were only valid for a short time. Purcahsed a Chevy Bolt with less than 12000 miles. Started having a weird jolt/lagg problem less than 2 weeks after the purchase. Dealership could not find a problem so told me to keep driving the car. Car had to be towed into the dealership after it left me stranded on the side of the highway. They say it is a moto sensor. A week later and still not car. I have called this dealership numerous times and have spoken with different sales managers. They do not return calls or follow up. When I called and talked to Adam regarding the license plates he acted like he didn't know who I was. I understand I purcahsed a used vehicle but I did not expect it to completely breakdown within 2 months of the purcahse. More

Alex was more knowledgeable on the vehicles I was interested in than several other salespeople I have talked with recently, especially with the tech specs on the Bolt EV that I wound up buying.
