Took in my Denali reporting a noise we thought might be a bad bearing in rt front wheel. Mentioned a few other things to give an estimate on which included brakes and rotors. They quoted for brakes and rotors, saying I was down to 3 millimeters and they normally changed at 4. They also said the noise was in the steering column and quoted for that. All estimates being really large, I took the suv home. My son bought brakes to do the job himself. First thing he noted was that the rt front wheel was loose and wobbly. He pulled the wheel to do the brakes and said the brake pad was barely worn. We took it to Les Schwab who verified it had a bad hub and replaced it for us. They made no comment about it needing brakes or rotors. We paid McLoughlin Chevy $175 for an estimate that I feel was a mistake. My Denali drives really well now. It feels more controlled. My 2008 Equinox had oil and antifreeze mixed and the car overheated istatly I had a major cleaning of the cooling system and head gaskets replaced.in October. The Antifreeze and oil we’re supposed to be replaced after the old contaminated were flushed out. However when I drove it home the oil warning light came on so I went back to the dealership to get the oil changed. Now antifreeze is leaking into the car and the windows fog up on the inside almost instantly. I waited a week to get an appointment for the service manager to tell me the heater core was bad and I have to wait for another week for the parts to come in. I am 80 years old and it is my only vehicle. So I am again home bound. The parts were supposed to be delivered today but I did not get the promised phone call to take it in. ??? More

When my car died (Thursday), my regular mechanic couldn’t see it until January. I live away from the city and have one car. McLoughlin Chevy listened and said I could have it towed in right away but they cou see it until January. I live away from the city and have one car. McLoughlin Chevy listened and said I could have it towed in right away but they couldn’t get to it until Tuesday. They not only fixed it Friday - 4 days EARLY - when I went to pay my bill I was able to leave my rental with them instead of having to take it to the rental place then Ubering back. AND it was slightly less than they quoted me. AMAZING experience. Definitely my next choice if my car needs service! More
