What really stood out from the time we went through the doors he made the car buying experience more of a conversation than a sales pitch. He did not use any of the usual car salesmen phrases that we had heard at other dealers. When we left the dealership we felt we got a fair deal. We will definitely go there 1st for our next purchase. Used vehicles does not meet minimum standards My daughter who happens to be functionally artistic and her 78 year old grandmother bought a car from McLaughlin . They both exspressed to the salesma My daughter who happens to be functionally artistic and her 78 year old grandmother bought a car from McLaughlin . They both exspressed to the salesman (Scott ) that she needed a reliable vehicle because my daughter lives in kewanee and travels to the quad cities frequently for work and school. They also purchased the warranty just in case something went wrong. After 7 months she was driving the car and it started to shake. She pulled into a ford dealership in kewanee and ford did not even have to put it up on the hoist to see that the whole back end was rusted out to the point that the ford dealership said she was lucky that the whole back end did not fall off and a serious accident could of occurred. When calling the dealership Scott replied it is not the dealership problem because they bought the car "as is" after talking to the attorney general office I found out a dealership has to provide " minimal standards on " as is " vehicles. And that McLaughlin has failed . Thank goodness the attorney general office gave us the proper steps to take to get this situation resolved. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a new or used vehicle from McLaughlin More

I really appreciated how Andrew Allmendinger I usually get annoyed shortly after entering a car lot with the sales person bombarding you and hovering. I really appreciated how Andrew Allmendinger kept his distance and only asked if I had any questions but didn't push. When I was ready to investigate further he had all the answers I needed. He was very informative in a practical way. Not just reciting out of the manual. When we decided to buy he walked us through seamlessly and kept us updated the whole way. Great follow up. Definitely recommend him to anyone! More

Kim and the McLaughlin team were great and was willing to work with us to get them addressed. Kim made the car shopping and purchasing seamless. I am bossy and particular, so thumbs up to McLaughlin and expressly Kim Hicks for giving us service with a smile. We were so pleased that when my husbands car started acting up. We went back to Kim for a second Subaru Outback. My only real complaint would be negotiating of price. Yes, they were always willing to ask for me(i'm bossy and a bit pushy)for reduction in the price. Not a big fan of being told right off the bat that I have little to no wiggle room on a price. To recap... Over all great place to buy a car. Special note: The service team top of the line. More
