It was 82 miles away, in Moline, IL. we inquired about their ePrice on two Legacies and Kim Hicks responded immediately. After several e-mails we agreed on terms and we picked our new car up two days later. Kim was very helpful during the process so it went smoothly. She took pains to demonstrate the car's extensive features before we drove away. This was, without a doubt, the best car buying experience that we have experienced! We would definitely recommend the dealership and Kim to anyone looking to purchase a car! More

Used vehicles does not meet minimum standards My daughter who happens to be functionally artistic and her 78 year old grandmother bought a car from McLaughlin . They both exspressed to the salesman (Scott ) that she needed a reliable vehicle because my daughter lives in kewanee and travels to the quad cities frequently for work and school. They also purchased the warranty just in case something went wrong. After 7 months she was driving the car and it started to shake. She pulled into a ford dealership in kewanee and ford did not even have to put it up on the hoist to see that the whole back end was rusted out to the point that the ford dealership said she was lucky that the whole back end did not fall off and a serious accident could of occurred. When calling the dealership Scott replied it is not the dealership problem because they bought the car "as is" after talking to the attorney general office I found out a dealership has to provide " minimal standards on " as is " vehicles. And that McLaughlin has failed . Thank goodness the attorney general office gave us the proper steps to take to get this situation resolved. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a new or used vehicle from McLaughlin More
