They said they are the identical warranty to discount tire of which I have bought nearly 20 sets in my lifetime. Had a blowout, they charged me $50 because they prorated the tire. Every time I have done work at McKinney Buick GMC, I have been nickeled and dimed and sometimes, flat right out taken advantage of. Get your service somewhere else, this is the last time I will use them. More
The sales team was great when it came to purchasing a vehicle. My review is for the finance department. Malcolm Todd was rude and became annoyed anytime you have questions about the contract. We tal vehicle. My review is for the finance department. Malcolm Todd was rude and became annoyed anytime you have questions about the contract. We talked about warranties, and he told me it could be used all over the U.S. he lied, so thank God I was smart enough to cancel the warranty, which he said could not be canceled. The final straw is I gave my information to send my tag and he sent it to a city almost an hour away. Even if he lost the information, he could have called or sent it to an agency near my zip code. I felt this was done on purpose. This is the worst experience I have ever had and would not recommend them for future purchases. Buick needs to do something for all my inconvenience, but they want cause that's the greedy business they are in. More
While initially I was impressed by the quick response from the pre-owned sales team and a text message from my salesman who specifically highlighted that the dealership charges no extra fees nor has any from the pre-owned sales team and a text message from my salesman who specifically highlighted that the dealership charges no extra fees nor has any add-on costs (I specifically asked and he responded promptly), I was also told that the dealership is eager to sell, so all reasonable offers will be considered. I decided to move forward and made a reasonable offer and waited to see the purchase order to sign off. I was shocked to receive a mocked-up purchase order showing the car priced $2000 above the advertised price (which is illegal, as everyone knows) and nearly $3500 in added charges. When I confronted my salesperson, he claimed that the higher price was an error and the fees were just part of the reconditioning cost associated with their pre-owned cars, which they pass on to the buyers! This left a bad taste in my mind, but I was determined to work but the pre-owned sales manager would not engage or allow the salesman to do his job of making a deal with me. Frustrated with the old-school used car salesman tricks, I reached out to the GM of Sales (Ron Johnson) and GM of the dealership (David Kelley) requesting their help to get the deal approved, but I did not hear back from either. This morning, I received a call from my salesman informing me the car was sold an hour ago. Overall, I am very disappointed with the way this dealership operates and highly doubt their sincerity, ethics, and standards, so I would recommend customers to be super careful and stay away from their pre-owned car department! I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes for an oil change in spite of having an appointment. The cost of my $69.95 oil change became $85.75 with additional fees including now a 3% fee for credit card payments. spite of having an appointment.
