I really wish my fiancé and I had read the reviews on this dealership before trying to purchase a 2020 GMC Sierra pickup. August 10th, 2023, we went to browse their used car selection and found the truc this dealership before trying to purchase a 2020 GMC Sierra pickup. August 10th, 2023, we went to browse their used car selection and found the truck we wanted. Our salesman was Jordan Lesby. We were told no money down and they rolled the tax, title and registration into the price. Dealership told us our loan was approved by the bank and we drove the truck off the lot without spending a single nickel. My fiancé nor I have the best credit so at the time we were surprised to have been approved and it felt too good to be true. We took the dealership at their word because they told us financing this truck would build our credit up. The dealer recommended we get the protective coating on the truck because they had just gotten the truck in and didn’t have time to clean it yet, so he rolled that into the price of the truck as well. We scheduled a time to take the truck in and we dropped it off 6:30am before they even opened so we could get to work on time. Left work at about 4:30pm to go pick up the truck and nothing was done. The truck was not cleaned, the brakes were at 67% and the oil & filters were not changed. A finance woman approached us and said if we re-scheduled another appointment, she would make sure it got done. Again, we dropped the truck off early, went to work and left work early to go pick up the truck. Yet again nothing had been done to the truck. Drove it off the lot with zero promises fulfilled. We paid another shop to change the oil & filter for us and give the truck the cleaning it needed. Fast forward to last Friday, September 8th, 2023. My fiancé receives a call from a woman at the dealership saying that the loan from the bank (Flagship Credit) was in fact not approved and they wanted the truck back if we couldn't provide the necessary documents proving his employment. Monday September 11th, 2023, the same woman from the dealership called again to say the loan was still not approved and that they needed the truck back immediately. The woman said it did not matter that all the paperwork was in his name, and that she had the authority to pull the registration without his approval. Later that day Kenny Wadman the used car manager/customer care director called my fiancé and threatened that if he wasn't going to comply, he would report the car as stolen and have him arrested for grand larceny. As well as threatened to have the truck repossessed and that he would call the attorney generals office. After arguing with him, Kenny gave my fiancé 3 days to get this situation straightened out. We called Flagship Credit from which was funding the loan and confirmed all the information they needed. Today, Wednesday September 13th, 2023, my fiancé receives a call from his employer saying they received a call from Flagship Credit, and they confirmed his employment with the company. At that point we figured the issue was resolved. While at work my fiancé receives a call from the dealership saying that the bank has denied the loan due to his credit and they needed the truck back. We returned the truck but kept the license plate and all other paperwork in my fiancés name for his protection. I waited in our other vehicle while my husband went inside the dealership to speak to Kenny Wadman and handed over the keys to the truck to him and asked for his last name. Mr. Wadman said he would not give him that information. I guess Mr. Wadman doesn't know that google exists. My fiancé and him exchange some choice words and walk outside. I step out to get my fiancé and Mr. Wadman proceeds to tell my fiancé and I that it is not his fault we did not get the truck and that he isn't the one with "credit issues". He then implies that we couldn't afford a lawyer even if we wanted to and that they manage over 30 other dealerships. More choice words were exchanged, and we left the dealership. To say this was a poor experience is an extreme understatement. More

Luke handled the customer interface very well - a great start as to what should be a successful sales career. I think it would be helpful if there was a checklist presented to the customer as to all the st start as to what should be a successful sales career. We were blind as to the process and often sat there waiting for whatever. More

I attempted to work out a deal and reach the sales manager Dorian to learn more about one of their used 2019 Volvo XC90's. Sadly, it quickly became apparent that not only was this manager too busy to manager Dorian to learn more about one of their used 2019 Volvo XC90's. Sadly, it quickly became apparent that not only was this manager too busy to assist a client hours away attempting to skip the hassle of driving to Ft. Myers if the deal wasn't right, McGrath Volvo lists the price of their cars below market value to appear as a good deal to the consumer until an out the door sale contract is constructed and unveiled is what you would really pay. For a car advertised right below $32.5k, you are hit with over $4,000 in extra dealer, "reconditioning", "new license plate" and administrative fees that quickly brand McGrath Volvo as less than upfront in their true price and business dealings. With tax, that original $32.5k car inflates to just over $39,000. Regardless of then attempting a trade in which will then be valued below average, I believe that McGrath Volvo is not upfront in their true consumer pricing, and their upper level managers will not take the time to call you or text you back as promised. Sadly, they also do not have any female sales representatives as the last one quit two days ago. I imagine she couldn't continue to deal with shady. Be cautious of the alluring charm and smile because it really is not what it seems at the end of the day. I will take my business elsewhere. More
