The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

We do a great deal of research regarding our market pricing. Other dealers are going to price themselves within their market, as well. Furthermore, we performed a wiring repair as well as a pinch sensor replacement. Based on the estimate provided, it is likely they only quoted you for the pinch sensor replacement. Without seeing the wiring problem beforehand, they would have a hard time providing any sort of estimate for repairing it, just as we would had someone called and asked about a wiring problem over the phone. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to service your vehicle.
