The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

After looking at so many dealerships,it was a pleasant surprise to go to McGrath Honda.I walked into their St Charles dealerships a very busy Saturday and Leo stopped what he was doing and helped me find surprise to go to McGrath Honda.I walked into their St Charles dealerships a very busy Saturday and Leo stopped what he was doing and helped me find the right car.Leo even went to another lot to find me car.
