The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

We are extremely pleased with our new 2022 Accord Hybrid Sport ! Derek and Shane were very thorough, professional,and friendly. Buyers beware. My experience was horrible!! The dealership took advantage of my situation and it cost me thousands of dollars I shouldn't have had to spend. Buying My experience was horrible!! The dealership took advantage of my situation and it cost me thousands of dollars I shouldn't have had to spend. Buying used will cost you $2000 above sticker price-minimally. Ridiculous to pass the cost of having inventory onto the customer. The finance guy(Francisco) was an annoying a** and should be fired. While I think Honda's are one of the best type of vehicles out there, I would NEVER recommend this dealership!! For them, it's all about "ringing that bell". The only acceptable part of the transaction was Alan-the salesman. My advice to him is find another dealership that deserves you. If I could go back in time, I would have left right after the test drive....Lesson learned!!! Don't buy from here!!! More
