The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

From the moment you walk in you are treated like a dumbo nad service rep keep on upselling you. They don't listen to what are the issue you are facing. More interested in all the upsell and additional services they can provide. Service Advisor David was totally oblivious to what I had to say. When I complained I got a email signed as Service Manager and sent by the same person who I am complaining about. This shows absolutely the seriousness of the company towards customers. More

Pete Mattison was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to get my wife and I the best deal possible.
