The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

First I will say, I would go back to that dealer, and refer my friends or family to go as well. I am a 70 year old women and this is not my first car I have purchased, And I purchased it all by myself. refer my friends or family to go as well. I am a 70 year old women and this is not my first car I have purchased, And I purchased it all by myself. No input from my husband. So I want to say, I was treated with respect and everyone (well almost everyone) listened to all my questions and concern, I truly enjoyed working with Jimmy Stark. I would refer everyone to ask for Jimmy. He went above and beyond for me. I left something in the car I traded in and Jimmy put it in the mail to me. Now that's customer service. The ONLY negative thing I will add is, The fianace guy was not as friendly, I felt he was in a hurry and pushed the papers to me to sign and didn't want to give me time to look at them, That sort of hit a nerve with me. Robert was in the room for some of the paper signing and asked me if I had any questions, and the finance guy just kept shoving papers my way. So I had to make a comment about about it. So I mentioned to Robert that I guess I have to wait til after I finished signing to ask him a question . Besides the paper signing, Everything went Very well. More
