The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

Angie also stool her time to send me cars in your inventory of what I was looking for. So I decided to stop in and see. My sales representative was Adam. He did an amazing job explaining all of your inventory. Adam was professional, knowledgeable, and super respectful. Carlos was also amazing, he got me a great deal in my budget and super respectful. Carlos knows how to make someone feel good about what they’re buying. Honda McGrath in St Charles are truly for the customers and very caring people. 10/10. More

This dealership is more than just car sales, they make you feel like family! I've been taking my cars here for years to get serviced and finally needed a new vehicle. Their service department is amazing so why not try their sales team out. It was right on par with what I expected given my service experience. Zach has always done an amazing job taking care of my vehicles and now Darek has extended the relationship with buying a new vehicle. There was no pressure and he found a way to help me get the vehicle I wanted. Along with the rest of the McGrath of St Charles team, Kyle made the finance portion of the deal effortless and made the deal we wanted to happen coke to fruition.
