The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

I had the pleasure of working with Jakub, as my salesman on this past Saturday I was well pleased with his professionalism as well as his knowledge on the business aspect of different type of cars and SUV’s on this past Saturday I was well pleased with his professionalism as well as his knowledge on the business aspect of different type of cars and SUV’s he was very patient as he took me around the car lot and explained each SUV that I was interested in until I chose the one I love and end up purchasing me a new 2025 SUV..
