The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

This is dedicated to PETE, the legendary man! I got my first car with the aid of that person. I initially went to try out a different car at first, but it turned out to be decent. I was able to secure a vehicle that was outside of my price range because they had a large selection of vehicles. Pete was able to assist me in getting everything, including a fair rate. I was able to purchase a vehicle because of this, and it has better looks, better mileage, is a better year, and has everything! My overall experience was fantastic! The only thing I would change is how long it took. But I still purchased a car after that! It therefore reconciled. More
