Like the new location. Derrick and everyone we worked with was helpful, professional and very customer focused. Throughout the process of ordering the car to purchase Derr Derrick and everyone we worked with was helpful, professional and very customer focused. Throughout the process of ordering the car to purchase Derrick kept us informed, and explained everything from the order process to how our new care operated. It was a pleasure working with him. More
We had the best service with them. We bought 3 cars from them and all 3 times, they gave their best service. Pete was our salesman and he was the best. A really funny and nice guy! He was able to get me the car I wanted within a very short window of time. Very professional, everything got done reasonably fast. Got to ring a bell at the end too. short window of time. Very professional, everything got done reasonably fast. Got to ring a bell at the end too. More
We had a great experience from our salesperson Nikhil Kain. He was very courteous, knowledgeable throughout the process. It was a rainy day where he got soaked several times and he even assisted us by b Kain. He was very courteous, knowledgeable throughout the process. It was a rainy day where he got soaked several times and he even assisted us by bringing us an umbrella through the rain. We went through the entire sales process to purchase a vehicle and my one strong suggestion would be that the wait times were way too long with the various dealership areas involved. However, everyone was very courteous throughout. More
This dealership is more than just car sales, they make you feel like family! I've been taking my cars here for years to get serviced and finally needed a new vehicle. Their service department is amazing s you feel like family! I've been taking my cars here for years to get serviced and finally needed a new vehicle. Their service department is amazing so why not try their sales team out. It was right on par with what I expected given my service experience. Zach has always done an amazing job taking care of my vehicles and now Darek has extended the relationship with buying a new vehicle. There was no pressure and he found a way to help me get the vehicle I wanted. Along with the rest of the McGrath of St Charles team, Kyle made the finance portion of the deal effortless and made the deal we wanted to happen coke to fruition. McGrath of St Charles is a class act and we will continue to utilize their services and sales for years to come. More
Not a great experience. I live over 3 hours from McGrath, therfore I made sure to make an appointment, and held several conversations about the car I wanted to see via email I live over 3 hours from McGrath, therfore I made sure to make an appointment, and held several conversations about the car I wanted to see via email.Upon arrival (30 min earlier than my SCHEDULED appointment) I was told neither of the two people who I had talked about the car with and had scheduled to see the car with were there that day..We went and sat at our new sales person's desk and talked about the car we wanted to see and that I was thinking about maybe trading my car.So as they looked for the car i had come to see because they had "no clue where it was", we went out and assessed my car. I handed the salesman the keys to MY car so he could start it. After we looked it over and went back to his desk and I asked for my keys back- he said that on his way back to the desk he handed his manager the keys to my car and he was out test driving it. What?! I hadn't been asked if they could test drive my car, which test driving it wasn't the problem- but the fact that they were already driving it BEFORE making me aware of it was not okay especially since it had all of my personal belongings!Once they came back another hour went by of sitting in the lobby before they "finally found" the car I had come to see. So we asked some questions about the car while we were looking at it and our salesman knew nothing about the car- which I can't completely blame him before because he wasn't the person who was supposed to show me the car. After we test drove it we came back and said we were interested in getting the car and I was told we could negotiate about the price.Once we worked out all the numbers we waited another 2 hours at the desk doing absolutely nothing and no one was telling us what was going on... Finally we went in to sign all of the papers and got eveything straightened out. By this time we had spent a total of 3 hours driving to the place where we spent 5 and half hours in the lobby and 3 more hours home... The almost 6 hours in the lobby is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Furthermore I had stated several times that I wanted to finance through somewhere local, after waiting 5 hours in the lobby we were told they had already financed us through them. At that point we decided we would just get home and refinance ASAP.We had stated throughout the buying process that we DID NOT want to finance through them and that we would be willing to drive back the next day with a check. We ended up trading in my car which was a weird experience on its own- several days later i got a text "where is the title for the car you traded in" um. First off you never asked for a title- which I thought was really weird but I didn't know how that worked since I had never traded in a car before.I stated that we were never asked for a title and that I still had it. I was told that I needed to send a picture of the title so that they could "get my information to the bank" and that they "needed my card information so they could charge me $20 since they didn't have the physical title." I said I would send a picture of the title but I was not about to pay $20 for something that wasn't my fault and that I was never told about, and that I wasn't about to send my card information in a text or over the phone. I asked if i sent the title would i beget the 10 payoff on the car, they said i should be able to, i just needed to talk to one of the financial managers. So in the end I sent the picture of the title and never heard anymore about that. I called two days later - 3 times to reach a financial manager. Never heard back. I called the next day, I reached someone and they said that I shouldn't need a 10payoff since it was less than 10days since I bought the car. Um no. That is not how interest works. I explained that I work at the place that I am refinancing through and that I know for fact that I need the 10 pay off. After I said that statement the person on the phone said that I needed to call Capitol One Auto Finance, when I asked for the phone More
