Great sales,but stay a way from service department I purchased a brand new car at Mc Grath Honda of St. Charles on 2012. The buying experience was great until we bought car. After they got our money and closed the deal the troubles started with the service department. Usually I'm not a negative person and never spend time for negative comments or reviews. They installed a remote starter and alarm but t never worked properly and after trying a few months to fix the issue we gave up and they removed it. We got a new alarm from a different mechanic shop that worked perfectly. We started having a issue with starting the car after a year. We went to the service department a few times, but they weren't able to find the problem. After a few attempts they told us that there is an electric drain from the alarm. We took the car and went to a different mechanic shop to check the issue and they didn't find anything wrong with the electric system. In the mean time continued to not to start sometimes. We went back to the dealer for another check on the car they replaced the battery and tore out the remote starter and the alarm without even calling us and making sure that is fine. Thank god everything was free, covered under the car warranty. But they didn't fix the problem and today -12/03/2016 after more than four years and spending hours and days of going back and forward, the technician Michael Palmer was so rude and uncooperative he even told that I was wasting his time and he isn't going to make any free diagnostics, the problem is again in the battery. But it is not worth their time anymore because my car is four years old and there is no more warranty. My suggestions to every body if you have money and time to spend go to Mc Grath Honda of St. Charles or otherwise stay away. More

Carlos Fuentes- the sales consultant did an excellent job explaining the pros-and cons of all options available to us. He patiently explained the technical details like the CVT. But he never pressurized or rushed us. we visited again last month and he showed us around let us test drive multiple cars never once pressurizing us. Finally we bought the car last week and he gave us excellent tips of maintaining the car. he always has a smile, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous always professional. I will readily recommend the dealership to anyone wanting to buy a car. More

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER........A must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I responded to the text "what color?" I was told gray and black well I responded no thanks I'm looking for white I quickly received another text claiming that they do at a white one but it was used but said it was 2016. So of course I'm interested mainly because I'm looking for a 2016 now I just have to know how many miles are on it let me just tell you my excitement when I find out that there's only 4000 miles on it for the next four hours I spent texting back-and-forth with Amanda. I end up going on silence for a period of time that gets me very nervous so I decide to call the dealership and I get Frank who just so happens to be the "used car sales" specialist that I need. Right about this time it's around 6pm and I live about an hour away I fill him in on the details of my previous few hours of conversations with Amanda and he lets me know that he cannot locate the vehicle on the property that I am interested in. Needless to say I am a little bit nervous so he tells me he's going to call me back after he finds out where it is! I've already emptied out my vehicle with everything that was in it and I've already packed up my kids and I have decided that I'm going buy this vehicle.... So where is it? "Papageorgio to the rescue!" When I get the call to tell me where the Pilot was.... I was already in route to the St. Charles Honda, which let me remind you is an hour away from where I live. So about 15 min later, Frank calls to tell me that the vehicle that I am interested in is on in an extended test drive and it is not available but I can check that tomorrow and I tell him that is just simply not acceptable that I am already on my way and I will be buying the vehicle! Thank goodness Papageorgio took it upon himself to become my hero and by far the number one most deserving of an award for the best car salesman! Papageorgio aka Mike actually went and picked up this vehicle especially for me knowing how serious I was about wanting to buy this vehicle that he got the nerve to take me on a test drive in it while it was completely filthy this guy had a lot of nerve. But more important he had so much faith in this vehicle so much faith in himself, and I don't really know how to explain how well they ALL handled probably one of the most difficult customers that could have walked in at 8:15 on a Thursday evening I came in with two youngsters ages six and eight- priceless! Lucky for me my kids were very very well behaved because it took us until after midnight to close the deal but let me just say the customer service that I received from Frank Mike and Dustin was the most super friendly, honest, and welcoming. I am so superiorly satisfied with my vehicle my purchase and everything that has taken place that I commend St. Charles Honda and I give them the highest level of recommendation! Thank you for what you all did that night and continue to do since my purchase!!! More
