I brought a brand new 2013 Honda civic EX. There price was really good. Bout they took to long to do our paperwork. We were expecting to get done by 4:00 pm. But we got done at 8:00 pm. I shopped my trade-in, a 2004 Odyssey, to lease a 2013 new Odyssey at four dealers to see where I would get the best price. McGrath's initial offer was literally hundreds of dollars worse per month than new Odyssey at four dealers to see where I would get the best price. McGrath's initial offer was literally hundreds of dollars worse per month than every other dealer I visited. When I balked at their offer, they said they could knock it down a couple of dollars per month, which was still a much worse deal than I was offered everywhere else. When I balked again, they asked me to place a deposit on a vehicle and come back the next day. In short: bad prices, gamesmanship, and pressure tactics. Why would I want to shop there again? More
I had my oil changed a few months ago at McGrath Honda in St. Charles. Then, my wife went to Firestone for a tire problem and they found out the oil was overfilled and needed to be drained. So I took the car St. Charles. Then, my wife went to Firestone for a tire problem and they found out the oil was overfilled and needed to be drained. So I took the car back to McGrath Honda in St. Charle to drain the oil. The manager (John, I didn't get his last name) said after checking service record on their computer, "Yes, it is overfilled. I will give you 'the benefit of the doubt' and we will correct it". "The benefit of the doubt"?, what was he implying? I thought it was an inappropriate comment, especially since I had to waste my time going there and waiting due to their mistake. He said it would be done in 15 minutes, so I didn't say anything and waited in the lobby. He was passing by me a few times while I was waiting in the lobby for 1 hour. I finally got up and went out to check on the progress. The car was sitting outside. So I asked John whether the service was done. He said that he thought someone already told me that car is done. He saw me waiting all those times, and didn't bother to ask me? One good thing from this experience is that now I know I wouldn't go there again. More

In September, 2012 me and my wife went to McGrath Honda to exchange out CRV for a new CRV. We orignally agreed to obtain a 2012 CRV but had to order one which was fine by us. After about a week our sales to exchange out CRV for a new CRV. We orignally agreed to obtain a 2012 CRV but had to order one which was fine by us. After about a week our sales person, Derek Hulke called me to let me know that although our 2012 CRV would be late asked me if it would be allright if we would instead rather get a 2013 CRV for the same price. Needless to say I said "yes" and we obtained the very same CRV only it was a 2013. Overall, we were very satisfied with our purchase and we would reccomend to anyone looking to purchase a new Honda to go to MsGrath Honda as they will work with you to give you a great deal. More

We recently purchased a vehicle from mcgrath honda of St. Charles. There was excellent communications with our credit union and the dealer to complete the deal, with much patience and good service. Also there was a minor error with their advertising department, and Rick the sales manager made a compromise that we felt was very fair and appreciated. Last December, my husband and I purchased a CRV and Derek Hulke and Chris McGrath were the sales people we worked with. We have been so pleased with the vehicle, along with the service and expertise they provided us when we purchased the CRV. On Monday 10-29-12, I drove to Costco in St Charles with my 2 year old granddaughter and when we came out the CRV wouldn't start. I called the service dept and they immediately sent a person to jump the vehicle and then I drove to the service dept in St Charles to have the battery checked. It was entirely my fault for running the car without it completely on (I won't do that again) while we were waiting for Costco to open. The service dept checked out the battery and everything was fine and I was on my way. I can't tell you enough how relieved I was to have the service dept assist me so quickly and thoroughly especially with a 2 year old in the car. Everyone was so helpful and I wanted to pass on my appreciation for the great service that is offered at McGrath Honda in St. Charles. More
