Abel Barraza is extremely rude and intolerable to deal with. Actually made me cry today with his sarcasm and poor customer service etiquette. "Customer satisfaction"????? OK if that's what they want you to believe until you get screwed by them. I did speak to a gentleman today (forgot his name) at the end of my visit that at least tried to console me. I'm "supposed" to get a call tomorrow to try and fix my mess. All for a Bluetooth option that isn't standard on a 2016. Really? Abel made it a point to yell at me saying "well you got it installed for free". It could've been done better by a back alley mechanic. Abel would not even come out to the car to see the poor job they did. All in all, can't wait to get out of this contract and NEVER have to step foot in this crappy location. Until then, I will enjoy my visits to get my maintenance done. Ed in service is an AMAZING person to deal with. I wish he was the manager I had to deal with as opposed to Abel. Abel is what I consider a bully. Did not even take the time to finish our dialogue. Sent in a gentleman to handle a ghetto boys mess. He should be working in a hood car dealership. Might be more his style. Sincerely a frustrated, dissatisfied customer More

My husbands car had mounting issues and it was clear that we needed to find a new vehicle. His brother had recommended McGrath City Hyundai, since him and his wife had recently purchased two vehicles from there. We thought that it would be a good place to start our search for a new vehicle, so we went in on a Monday evening. After test driving a couple of vehicles, we decided that we needed to discuss if they were the right vehicle for us and that we would return the following day with a decision. Upon leaving the dealership, Leo gave us his business card and explained to us that we should call him with any questions or inquires that we had. Trying to be respectful we text him that evening that we had found another vehicle on their website that we were interested in and had asked him to collect the details and return our text or call the following day. After we did not hear from him, we inquired with the dealership itself about the vehicle. After approximately five phone calls we were directed to the incorrect Davids voicemail. Although we were frustrated, we left him a voicemail and when he promptly called us back he gave us all of the details about the vehicle. We went in that evening, on Tuesday and decided to buy the vehicle. After several hours of back and fourth with the "sales manager" Abel, we came to an agreement that if they would install a remote start then we would sign the paperwork. As we were going to sign the paperwork, we realized that they had only put my husbands name on the paperwork, and omitted mine. Dave (the "finance manager" took care of the situation and added my name on the spot. At this point he has to print all new paperwork, it is about 85 degrees in his office and it is passed closing time. I believe everybody involved was frustrated, tired and ready to head home for the night. Several days later our finance statement from the bank arrived with yet another surprise! This time, we realized that they had hidden a $600 remote start fee in the "sale price". Furious, we immediately called the finance manager that had been referred to us. After leaving several voicemails that he had no intention of ever responding to, we left a "comment" on the website. Magically, we received a phone call within minutes! I guess when you attempt to go public to complain about the appauling business practices of a company, they tend to reach out faster. After this worthless phone conversation, the "sales manager" Abel called us. He proceeded to explain to us that "nothing is free, so yeah, we were charged for the remote start". I thought that paying $20,000 for a vehicle would be sufficient payment for them to add our remote start, but they felt very differently. Abel then asked my husband to go in on Saturday to sit down and "go over the numbers". My husband went back to the dealership to speak with Abel on Saturday and he basically just repeated the same ignorant comments he told us over the phone the previous day. After this conversation was rendered worthless, we went back to the man that we were referred to in the beginning. After about five more phone calls, the receptionist finally personally asked Dave to pick up the phone. This conversation was close to worthless, the only new development that came from this conversation was that he would have the "General Manager" give us a call back. Shortly after this phone call, the "GM" did indeed call us. He asked us to COME BACK to the dealership that same day and speak to him about the issue with the remote start. He explained that it wasn't worth losing customers over $600 and that he would retrieve that paperwork on Monday morning at 9 a.m. when he arrived. He claimed that he couldn't retrieve that paperwork on Saturday because it was "locked up across the street". This is interesting because when I arrived at 9 a.m. on Monday morning he claimed that the paperwork is "usually scanned it, but ours wasn't, so he would have to walk across the street to get it". At this point I am still a bit upset, but I was calm until 45 MINUTES after I first asked him to go retrieve the paperwork and sit down to discuss it with me, I was still waiting in the lounge. I approached the front desk, where he was sitting chatting with our friend Abel and another co-worker, he looked at me and said "I FORGOT". The "General Manager" of a car dealership forgot about a customer while he was sipping coffee during his social hour. As a summary, our salesman, David Urrutia, was great. Very helpful and understanding. The service department that handled the installing of my remote start was great. They did not enter my appointment into to the system, but they did give me a loaner car until my car was ready for pick-up. Marc took my car in this morning and got me out of there quickly when I came to return the loaner and retrieve my car this afternoon. The service department and David aside, this entire dealership should truly be reviewed and most terminated if you hope to have McGrath City Hyundai still operating in a couple of years. More
