I have not bought a car in over 15 years. I scoured the internet within 200 miles of my hometown using cars.com looking for just the right car. I ended up finding it at McGrath City Honda. It was a black internet within 200 miles of my hometown using cars.com looking for just the right car. I ended up finding it at McGrath City Honda. It was a black 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L in superb condition. It was just like I drove it off the lot for the first time. No scratches, dings, or nicks were present. McGrath's service department inspected and detailed the car ensuring it was in top condition right down to the tires. They replaced all of the filters, fluids, and oil even replacing a tire that seemed bad ensuring the highest standards for their cars. I dealt with 2 salesmen from McGrath (Dave Kazarian and George Welykyj) who were exceptional. Since I lived over 3 hours away I needed someone to be my eyes and ears helping me to gather as much information as I could before deciding to make the long journey. These guys provided me with lots of information and pictures even down to the brand name of the DVD player. They helped me to negotiate the best price for my budget and were very courteous and willing to work with me through the whole process knowing they could sell the car to someone else for a lot less hassle than dealing with me. I would refer anyone looking for a Honda to start at McGrath City Honda. Ask for Dave Kazarian or George Welykyj. More
As McGrath Honda was close to my home, I wanted to purchase my car here though I visited other dealerships. We visited them almost around closing time on a Saturday evening but they did not rush us. purchase my car here though I visited other dealerships. We visited them almost around closing time on a Saturday evening but they did not rush us. Jose was very patient and gave us complete info about the car we were looking for. He and his management made sure that we were satisfied by striking a deal very close to what we actually wanted to pay for the car which is greatly appreciated. Though the color was not available at their location, they did not force us to purchase what they had but made sure that they gave me what I wanted. I love my car and would surely suggest McGrath Honda to anyone who is looking out for a great deal along with good buying experience. More

This was my first experience with McGrath City Honda and it could not have been better. It was evident from the beginning to the end the whole team had their focus on customer service. They wanted to build it could not have been better. It was evident from the beginning to the end the whole team had their focus on customer service. They wanted to build the relationship and wanted to make sure that everything from the vehicle's features to the forms that needed to be signed was fully understood prior to moving forward. The people I had the pleasure of working with took pride in the work they were doing. Weather a customer was thier to purchase, lease or just to look, from my vantage point, everyone was treated with the upmost respect and the quality of their work shined through. Building a releationship with the customer is crutial, because I plan to be visting the dealership as needed over many years. I stopped by a few other dealers recently and the experience was totally different. There, they just wanted to get the car off the lot - quick and on to the next in line. they did not take the time and it was apparent that in their minds, they were doing you the favor. That is why I really appriciated MCgrath City Honda - their friendliness showed throughout the entire process. Although the whole process took a better part of the day, it was worth it. When purchasing something like this, I wanted to be sure that I understood everything. I wanted to ensure I was getting the best deal I could and I wanted to walk out of there without any remorse. And I cn say that is exactly what happened. Buying a car should not be rushed, unless you just don't care how much you are paying or what type of vehicle you walk away with. As far as the price I paid - in my mind I got a fair deal. I was told once that a fair deal on a car is up to the car buyer. That did not really make sense until I purchased a new car. We went through the process of getting a quote on my trade in. Again, everything was explained in detail and I thought what they offered was fair. Next we went through the option of lease or buy. In the end, it made more sense for me to buy. Going through the invoice and comparing it to MSRP and then nogotiating how much of a down payment to as well as considering this is a business and they have to make money too - finally getting to a fair purchase price. The key is to be willing to walk away at any point and not be pressured into paying for something taht you don't really want or paying more than you think is fair. Here, I was willing to walk away but no need due to the professionalism of the crew and the willingness to see eye to eye on a fair deal. Thanks for everything. More
I will recommend the dealer because they got me a great deal in the end, but it was a roundabout process. First, I was told by an internet sales guy over email that I would be able to buy a car without deal in the end, but it was a roundabout process. First, I was told by an internet sales guy over email that I would be able to buy a car without accessories installed or that he could easily have them uninstalled. Another woman, also from the internet department, was constantly calling me about my inquiry, so I wasn't sure who I was supposed to work with. On her fourth or fifth call, I was getting ready to make a final decision - at that point, she told me the original internet sales guy was no longer working there. I told the lady I had gotten a better price at another dealership. She said she would match it (after checking with the manager). I said great and made an appt to come in to buy the car. When I went in, James helped me. He was fabulous and he promptly pointed out the accessories package and its price after my test drive. I told him I had already worked this out with the original internet sales guy (whose communications had all been read by the internet sales lady, too) and that I did not want the package. Apparently this was a big problem because then the sales manager got involved. Sounds like what happened is that the internet department did not communicate well when quoting the price and the accessories package cost was calculated in to make the deal doable. It became a very long process at this point. I totally understood the problem and was willing to walk away without being upset. In the end, the dealership honored the quote without the accessories. Kudos for that. Many staff were there late to get me out the door, too. The final snag happened when I got home and realized my tax receipt did not match the bill of sale. My loan docs were for over $200 more than it should have been. I am so glad I caught that and again, they made it right, even if I did have to go back in and sign corrected papers. All in all, I hope to avoid the necessity of ever visiting again. Getting a new car was supposed to be easy and joyful because I had a solid deal worked out before I went in. Instead, it was a really draining process that I do not wish to repeat. I must say that I really liked the way James handled all of the snags and I would recommend him 100%. More
Alex in sales was very profesional and easy to work with. He stayed late to get the paperwork done and showed me the features of the car the next day.
