It would have been nice if the dealership had given our daughter the referral "fee" that they talk about since she did really talk her kia sedona up so we decided to upgrade to a newer model. The finance dept. got a little long and tedious, as perhaps it does at every dealership. A couple of points. One the told us they had 4 goals..the first 3 they met, but the 4th one of getting us out of there as quickly as possible, not so much. Two hours later we finally left the dealership in our new van. If they didn't keep trying to sell you the extended warranty then it would have been a quicker process. When the second finance person said "it's a no-brainer to buy the extended warranty" it kind of soured the whole experience and all I could think was "is he saying I'm stupid?". Overall, those were the lowest aspects of the whole buying experience. Another aspect occurred after the fact with the financing and our not realizing that when we agreed to twice monthly automatic payments to pay it off sooner that there was a hidden finance fee which we were not made aware of which costs us an extra 2o.oo dollars a month. would be good to let the buyer know that up front. YIKES!! still working to get that rectified through the bank. so, an interesting experience. More

McGrath beat the deal of any local dealer I visited ( and I visited many). None of the normal BS just upfront and honest all the way from start to finish. Will admit was a little leary that the deal would change when I got there to finalize it, (as that had happened to me already) but happy to say everything went just as discussed. Couldn't be happier that I made a 2 hour trip from Illinois to Iowa to buy my new Kia Forte. Trevor Arnold and Josh Powell are A+++++ More
2014 GMC Sierra truck Nathan Bock was awesome to work with. I had my truck within 24 hours delivered right to me. My new Jetta! I have been wanting a new car for awhile and one day at work I heard the McGrath commercial on the radio. After work I decided to call them and ask wh I have been wanting a new car for awhile and one day at work I heard the McGrath commercial on the radio. After work I decided to call them and ask when the soonest time I could come in was and they said I could right then! I went and worked with Lindsay Butterfield. He showed me a bunch of cars and let me test drive them so I could get a feel for which one I would be most comfortable driving. Since I'm a college student I needed a loan and him and Melissa worked extensively with the bank to get me the best loan they could. Then with that loan they found me what was in their opinion the best car for my money. I ended up loving the car! Lindsay was always and still available for all my questions! It was a great overall experience and they made buying my first car easy for me! More
Great staff. Brett is not pushy and will take the time to find the car you like but it didn't take long to find one I liked. Cal and Brett have a talent and know their vehicles well. I recently had the pleasure of working with Nathan Bock at McGrath's Buick Cadillac Kia and I found him to be very friendly and easy to work with. He did not push me with high pressure sales tactics and let me take my time to buy the car I wanted. In fact he went to another dealer in Iowa to get the car I wanted as they sold the car I had originally been looking at. He is very professional in everything he worked with me on. I was not an easy person to deal with. I did not know I was not an easy person to deal with. I did not know what I wanted in a car or truck. I did know what I wanted to pay for my car or truck. I was in there three times before I bought anything. I bought a Ford Escape. I asked my sales person three times what the price of the truck was and never did see the price of it until we started talking financing. I am VERY UNHAPPY about that. For that reason I will not buy at a McGrath dealership again. I have told a lot people about it and they agree that, that is bad business. The people were nice but when I ask a question I want it answered. I took my truck to my mechanic and he told me that there are two problems with my Escape and the sales person said McGrath won't fix it if I want to keep my price down which is bad business again. I was in a bind needed a car yesterday. I was tired of the people and tired of looking for a car so I bought the Escape. Although I do like my Escape I now have to put about $500.00 into a car I just bought. :( More
