However, what I didn't like, and why I'm writing this warning to everyone else is the fact they the refused to give me any sort of numbers unless I put in a credit application. I have worked with many other dealerships in the past so I know this is not necessary and also a form for what they call pre-qualifying which is never supposed to happen but since I drove almost 2 hrs to this dealership and liked the car, I agreed to fill out the app but with a stipulation of TRUST from my salespeson, Beth, that they would not run my credit unless we were able to agree on a price, which I feel is a more than reasonable request (BIG MISTAKE). When I realized that we were not going to be able to come to a reasonable agreement, I did what anyone else would do and walked away. I assumed that was the end of it and if it was, I would not be writing this review. The reason for this review is because after the fact, McGrath ended up running my credit 5 different times after I left!! Now I have to go through all this trouble to dispute these 5 inquiries which, left untouched, will majorly affect my credit! Also, to top it all off, I've tried 4 times to call and resolve this without having to post this review/warning and not one person has cared enough to call me back and help, so here we are. I know how much dealerships love their commercials and silly play on words so I came up with one on my own based on my experience.... See title... More

My experience from the beginning to the end of my time at the dealership was pleasant and easy going. I did not feel rushed or pressured to make any decisions. I got to test drive my vehicle, learned all I needed to know about my vehicle and helped me get a great deal on my dream car. Paul took time giving us a A+ service and detail to many of the desires we had. His persistence in helping us find the exact color my wife wanted gave us confidence we went to the right place. He gave us a great deal and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. When we discovered a small problem with the exterior of the vehicle upon the final inspection, he personally took the vehicle to the shop for it to be repaired to our satisfaction. HORRIBLE !!!! If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I called about a used car they had on the website and was told they had it, I come in the same day only to f If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I called about a used car they had on the website and was told they had it, I come in the same day only to find out they didnt, SO TYPICAL of these sleazy McGrath dealers, anything to get you in the door. I had a similiar experience at the Lexus store next door last year but figured with this being an Acura store I'd try it. Believe me WAS I WRONG. This place now has 2 strikes against them and Im not about to give them a 3rd. As I was going to leave I was approached by a woman named Melissa Hansen who came across as the most arrogant person I've ever dealt with, I asked who she was and said she was a Manager, she told me it was my fault for not calling first...REALLY and your a manager????? I did call and someone who answered told me it was available so I came in. Never ever again, this is a warning people, I should have never even gone to this place seeing it only had 3 stars and this happened before at there Lexus store. Lesson learned. More

New way to buy a car I saw my cars on their website and began chatting with the salesman . Even took a picture of himself in the car to prove to me that Car was really there. We even haggled through text messaging to an agreed-upon price for the 2015 RDX. We agreed on a price so I made an appointment to come look at the car . I have never negotiated on a price for the car without physically being at a dealership before . When we took the car for the testdrive we were sold this was the easiest way I have ever purchased a car before . Sam villa is a great sales rep. he even went out of his way three days later to stop by my house to pick up the car to have some scratches taken care of for me on my ca he even went out of his way three days later to stop by my house to pick up the car to have some scratches taken care of for me on my new RDX. And he left me a loaner car to drive for the day! Talk about great customer service More

I had previously purchased a car from McGrath Acura so that's where I went when I started looking again. This experience was nothing like my first. The sales rep, Sam Shaheen, did not want to help us, did not want to show us the vehicles we asked to see because they stated that they were all out of our price range. Every other used car we asked about was conveniently sold although he didn't actually check the inventory. When we decided on a vehicle the asking price suddenly increased by 2,000. It was clear that he had judged myself and my fiance purely on looks and made a decision that we couldn't afford any of those vehicles. I went down the street and purchased two brand new cars at another dealer the same day. Worst dealer I've ever encountered. More

We were looking to purchase a car for a family member who lives out of town and found a good fit at their dealership. From the very start where we reached out to Joe, we felt like we were purchasing a $100,000 + car and understand the car we had in mind was less than $10,000... Joe and his Team are great and from start to finish we were VERY impressed with their professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy. Was much more than we expected given our other experiences and we purchase cars from all over the price spectrum. We Highly Recommend Joe Scala and McGrath Acura of Westmont.
