I had a great service at the Acura Dealer. The sales person Sam is really knowledgable of the different cars and their performance. Great dealership. Went in looking at two or three specific TL's. After driving two I settled on the one I wanted and went to work. Through the process of negotiation and making calls home we settled specific TL's. After driving two I settled on the one I wanted and went to work. Through the process of negotiation and making calls home we settled on a price and closed. Very clean and as enjoyable as car buying can be. When driving out of the lot I noticed a front speaker was blown. The car is now in the downtown location being taken care of - no problem. One thing to keep in mind, i have a relative that works at a different acura dealership and I still purchased here! More
We visited this dealership to look at a pre-owned vehicle. We called to make sure the vehicle was on the lot and Sam told us it was there so we drove out from Chicago to test drive the car. When we a vehicle. We called to make sure the vehicle was on the lot and Sam told us it was there so we drove out from Chicago to test drive the car. When we arrived, Sam told us: "Oh, sorry, that car was sold this morning." Then tried to get us to look at another, more expensive car. He totally played the bait and switch on us so we asked to speak with the manager. He brought over a guy named Sean who said he was the general manager. From the get-go, Sean was rude and condescending. We asked Sean to see the paperwork to prove the car was even ever on the lot, he wouldn't show us. So we asked to see the paperwork saying it was sold. That's when he starting pulling for straws and said he didn't have that either because the customer that was buying it and that currently had the car had bad credit, so the sale was not complete. What dealer knowingly lets someone with bad credit and no financing drive off the lot with a $28k car??? He was totally lying to us. We next asked Sean for his last name and he wouldn't give it to us. Then we later found out that Sean was not the general manager as he had claimed to be, he was just another sales guy. So apparently Sam just pulled another sales guy to pretend he was the manager to avoid having us speak to his boss. Who does that??? I have owned numerous cars and this was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. More
Beware of this dealer. I called on a car and verified with a salesman voice to voice several times that it was there on the lot, available for me to drive. Then when I show up at the dealership it was m with a salesman voice to voice several times that it was there on the lot, available for me to drive. Then when I show up at the dealership it was magically sold but a higher priced version was available. When I asked to speak with a manager to complain he was rude and refused to even give me his full name. These are sleazy car sales techniques and this dealership should be ashamed of itself. It's ironic because I read the bad reviews of them online but they had the specific car I wanted and I figured the negative reviews might be exaggerated. They are not. I wasted time and energy getting out there in bad traffic; I hope someone else will learn from my experience and not go thru the same thing. More

His service writer "Cathy" is also unbelieveablly accomodating and professional...Hat's off to everyone in this organization...including "Gloria" the most friendly receptionist I've ever encountered! I saw the car online, I called on monday and made an appointment for wednesday with Chris O'Connor. I was late for our appointment and to my surprise he didn't call and stalk me like most dealers, i wa appointment for wednesday with Chris O'Connor. I was late for our appointment and to my surprise he didn't call and stalk me like most dealers, i was already impressed:) Came in test drove the car, absolutely loved it! Noticed that the car had a cracked tail light and was missing the spare. He said that could be fixed(he ordered the parts and told me he would call me this week 8/13, I'll be updating this as the work is being done, right now my rating is based on my buying experience) He took a reasonable amount off the car for my "troubles" and i was sold. Now this was my first time buying a car, He explained the process to me and turned me over to Dean Wareh in finance. He was very nice, explained everything to me interest rates, my payment process, adding a warranty's etc. I was at the dealership for about and hour and a half. I got everything I wanted and more. My only "complaint" which isn't a terrible one, they didn't really show me any of the features of the car. I figured everything out on my own, it had a lot more features than i thought, the other day i found out it had remote start. I just would have liked a little explanation, other than that I was very satisfied with them. More
I went to this dealership looking for a certified used black on black MDX with entertainment and technology packages. After searching on the Internet, I found the car I wanted advertised at McGrath and d black on black MDX with entertainment and technology packages. After searching on the Internet, I found the car I wanted advertised at McGrath and drove over there to see it. I spoke to Sean Cueva who showed me the car, and when I asked about the price, he immediatley quoted me a price 3K above what they were asking for on the Internet. He tried to BS me and say that it was a typo, but after some negotiations, we got to a reasonable point and tried to move forward. He then tried to charge me $600.00 to certify the vehicle which is a complete sham, tried to sell me every piece of garbage add-on that you can think of, and then tried to stiff me on an extra set of headphones for the rear entertainment system. Every single person that I dealt with at this dealership was worthless, and brought a new low and complete bottom to the term used car salesman. Nick Kabro who is the finance manager is another scam artist, he tried to stiff me with an extended warranty that was marked up 100%, and also tried to get me into a high interest loan to help pad his pocket. I have heard the same horror stories from people who have tried to buy new cars from this place as well. Save yourself the headache, and keep some extra hard earned money in your pockets, don't even bother going down to see these guys. I promise you, you will thank me later!!! More
So I had left my car at the dealer for the 105K service. It took longer than expected due to a couple cracked motor mounts. Well as the car was in their lot at about noon, someone went through the lot, look It took longer than expected due to a couple cracked motor mounts. Well as the car was in their lot at about noon, someone went through the lot, looking at all the cars. I guess he saw my radar detector and iPod, so he broke my passenger window and took them. This was all caught on the security camera and the dealer immediately called the cops and filed a report. The service manager assured me that all repairs would be taken care of, including the tint that was on the window, and to provide a list of what was stolen. I had nearly $700 worth of things taken from the car (normally I lock it out of sight in the glove box, but forgot this time), and the dealer is paying to replace all that, plus a little extra for the hassle. I'm a very regular customer and they certainly are doing enough to have me come back! More
