I wish my experience were better, but I would caution anyone from buying from The McGrath group. After being told a vehicle was being held for me, I made the 75 mile drive today and was in consistent com anyone from buying from The McGrath group. After being told a vehicle was being held for me, I made the 75 mile drive today and was in consistent communication with the sales team throughout the drive, I arrive and sit down with the sales person for around 20 minutes where they gather the details of my trade. After asking about seeing the vehicle, the sales manager comes over and tells me that they just sold the vehicle and that they don’t hold vehicles for customers. I explained that I was told it was being held for me, and his response was flippant and dismissive. Not only did they not show any lack of remorse for wasting my time driving there, they were also intentional about keeping me waiting an additional 20-30 minutes to make sure the deal went through before telling me it was sold. Nice looking dealership, but their lack of concern for their customers and inability to communicate internally as a sales team cannot be understated. There is a lot of competition in the car buying space, and McGrath did nothing to earn my business in the future, More
They will run your credit with numerous lenders despite being told not to. I authorized 1-2 lenders. They ran 6 different lenders. One of which was a lender I told them I was already pre-qualified with. Ne being told not to. I authorized 1-2 lenders. They ran 6 different lenders. Worst car buying experience I have ever had. We had financing done and walked in with a check in hand and appointment to pick up the car. Took 2 1/2 hrs! Sales Manager lied to us, car wasn’t even ready - had to put gas in etc. Was told the day before they would just reverse it and then tell us that they have to mail us a check. Seriously? we live in Wisconsin and they do not have any idea how to handle that sale. Had a question and had to call five times over seven hours and demand they get someone on the phone before I got to talk to someone and didn’t get an answer anyway. We bought a $50k vehicle and had better service when we bought cheap used cars in the past! More

Visited to take a look at a CPO Acura TLX. Nick was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and he and the sales manager put together a great deal and a fair trade-in price.
